Just wondering if there is video floating around of David's backbend. I would love to see it. I loved the bottle of water video, so this has got to rock too!

He did that again tonight in Salt Lake and sprained his knee so he won't be doing that again! He also said that he got in trouble for doing the water thing when i requested a replay. He said that it shorted out his ear pieces and they were wrecked so he was told he can't do that again! BOO! He was AMAZING tonight!!!!! And Kathy from Arizona and I got backstage passes for the aftershow! We spent the whole time watching him do pictures and autographs for everyone and talked to him the whole time, for at least an hour!!!! But he was in pain the whole time because of his knee. He's very funny, very witty, VERY gorgeous, and really kind with the fans! He loves to make faces and stick his marker up his nose for laughs, every so often

It's 3:30 in the morning and I still haven't come down from the high! Who knows when or if I'll sleep tonight! I came back home and went online and bought tickets for Tuesday night!

Too bad! At least we know part of what made everyone so crazy last night, though.
I hope he has plenty of other antics in store for us, though, and didn't piss anybody off too bad. And I certainly hope he's okay enough to rock us out for the remainder of the tour!

Glad you had such a great time! How did you get backstage passes?

KentuckyKat, I know you're probably asleep by now, but did he clarify if he's going to make it out tonight despite the knee injury? I know they definitely wouldn't have let him go and sign autographs in the middle of the night if he was in any real toruble and you wouldn't have bought more tickets if this wasn't the case, but I wouldn't want him to be out of traction.

I should be asleep, but I'm too wired! He kept kept saying he was fine and wouldn't sit down to sign autographs unless it was little kids who were small enough for him to reach sitting down. He stood there doing autographs for more than an hour and at the end admitted that he was done in. BUT, he still kept saying he would be fine. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't go out for autographs tomorrow afternoon, but I can't see him not going onstage tomorrow night. He was even sluffing off the idea of seeing a doctor, but who knows they just might make him. he seemed in a fair bit of pain, so he might have to cut down on the rock star moves for a little while!

Oh - I feel bad he got hurt - hopefully he'll keep a brace on the knee and take it slow on stage for a while.
I think they play tonight and then not again until later in the week (Friday); so hopefully his knee will be better by then - I am playing "mother hen" but he better go check it out"
He better keep the acrobatics out of the routine for awhile.

David never ceased to give his best in every performance during the tour.
What he treated his fans that night was a standout performance with that backbend which we so enjoyed and...drools over.
I feel sad though to hear that he has injured his knees in trying to give his best to us fans.
Let's hope he gets a full recovery soon!

OH NO!!! Poor Cookie.

*kisses it to make it all better*
I was listening to the cell cast last night and heard the increase of scream volume during the guitar solo, and figured he was doing the backbend again. I'm so sorry he got injured. He really gives his all and it really touches me that although he was in pain, he still stood there signing autographs for his fans. What a sweetheart. I hope it's not too bad and he'll be okay in a day or two.
I was wondering if he had wrecked his ear pieces with the water thing. In one of the videos, just before he steps offstage, you can see him take them out. Damn. I'm sure he'll come up with MANY other ways of keeping us guessing, though.

krittr517 - according to Kats posting - when the water hit the ear piece, the ear piece was shorted out.

or that he might have shorted out something on his guitar as well.
It was a risky move..... but SOOOOOOO worth it

I pulled the ligaments in my knee last year and the next morning couldn't even bend my leg.
It was a couple of weeks until it was all better. I hope Cookie's knee injury isn't as bad. I'm sure they'll get him some care and everything he needs, though.
