Ok... First Post!!! YAY!!!

I was just wondering, what are your favorite contestants other than David Cook? Let's say including top 12.
My favorites this season are...
Carly, she was cool from the beginning.
David Archuleta, and I don't care if you call me whatever, I am 11.
Micheal, so so so sad/mad when he left
and
Brooke, but she has dissapointed me slightly

For those of you who have watched last season...
Gina Glockson, for some reason she reminded me of my aunt
Blake
Jordin, she was (sort of) my age! (hey, i said sort of)

I havn't watched any other seasons, but feel free to post people from those seasons too!

Honestly, I don't have any.
Cookie is the only reason I care about AI.

beside D. Cook - Jason and Brooke are the only other reason I watch.

VFTW - also supported Sanjaya, and this time last year, he was sent home.

Obviously Cook is my fav but I also like Michael, Archie, Brooke and Jason. I would probably buy each of their cd's.

Michael (if he were still there) and Carly. Otherwise, I'm David-exclusive.

My second favorite person on AI is Carly but I really only watch AI to see David every week.

Yeah, same here. She hasn't really done anything that impressed me much since Let It Be. I still have faith in her, though, and I hope she starts being awesome again soon.

David is my absolute favorite this season, but I also loooove Jason. I was a big fan of Michael and Chikezie too. *sob*

Other then David, I really like Brooke and Carly.

David Cook, and uh... David Cook.
But I do adore Jason and Brooke. Other two I would actually enjoy listening to.

David Cook is totaly my favorite, but i also like Carly, Jason, Brooke, and Michael if he were still there. It is actually a really good competition this year, and there is no clear cut winner as there was in past seasons.

Ramiele, I was really sad to see her go. From the other seasons my favorites are Fantasia, Melinda Doolittle, and Blake Lewis.

David A. & Carly. Although I used to love Brooke, but lately I haven't been too impressed

But David A. & Carly are waaay below David Cook

Well in the beginning of top 24...I only had 3 favorites..David Cook,Archie..and Jason and they're all still there..which is awesome,I really hope they're this years top 3 cuz that would be awesome

My favorite contestant this season besides David is Carly. I love her accent, LOL, and I think she's a damn good singer. She'd be my dream finale mate with DC!

I also was a big David A. fan from the get-go (I still get chills listening to him do "Imagine"!), but I'm not as into him now. I will say that the very real possibility of a David/David finale does intrigue me. Talk about different styles!

I miss Michael. I never got to hear him do what I really wanted him to do - INXS! He reminds me in many ways of Michael Hutchence, and I *loved* MH.

Never really watched AI before and pretty much anything about AI except David can kiss my ass.
Hmm..assesment:
auditions- loved David, I actually kinda liked Archie too. But i usually watch the auditions for the bad people. The Paula obsessor freaked my out, and I have the dying moose guy recorded on my phone. You know? The one who said he sounded like Eddie Vedder, so of course I was kind of excited, and he sounded deaf, but he gave me great laughs.

60's week- I was pretty much in love w/ Jason, I kinda liked Archie. David actually creeped me out. Loved Michael and The Doors-ness.

70's- still loved Jason, but that was pretty much the last time he was my fave. I was converted to Cookism. *see my teenie thread and the ARN thread for further ramblings about it*

so basically Jason and moreso Michael....

idk how many times i've changed my mind about this..
but atm it's david obviously
and then jason and syesha are other favorites
and i guess brooke too...

as for people that were voted off already..

From the beginning my top 4 were:

David Cook (that damn argyle sweater and rooster hair-do did me in at the audition, not to mention that voice)
Carly Smithson (great performer - still like her for the top 2)
David Archuleta (I enjoy his voice, but he is not a very good performer on stage - too stiff or something)
Michael Johns (I dig this dude immensely, but didn't think he would win it all - although I felt the same way about Taylor Hicks and he won )


I also kind of enjoyed Alaina Whitaker's country sound and think she was voted off too soon.

80's week creeped me out... i didn't know ANY of the music (born in 1996) but my mom did so i had to live with her going "I know this song!" every time someone started singing

Other than David, my favorites are Michael and Carly and it sucks that they are both gone. oh well i think they will make it big. on the other hand my least favorite is Syesha she's too much of a diva
