i heard that last night (july 30, 2008) from 24 oras that he'll be having his concert here by jan 2009... that will be a great bday gift for me ... i love it!!!

David Cook Heading Overseas for Tour

During a radio interview with a Toronto station, David Cook announced his first post-American Idol booking. He'll be heading overseas to the Philippines.

Web sites are already buzzing with excitement from Cook's overseas fans. Some of those fans even chat right here on www.myfoxkc.com. You can watch the Cook radio interview below.

Right now, Cook is touring with his American Idol brethren. He'll be in Kansas City for the tour August 29 and 30.

When asked if the Philippines tour stop would be the start of an overseas tour, Cook said it's likely to be a one-off stop before heading back to the United States.
