Hey y'all I just wanted to let you know we are very proud of all of our Cook Fans Conquering Cancer, Making Strides for Breast Cancer, Relay for Life, and Sport Your Support Challenge teams! We are so close to the goal we set to meet by the end of the AI tour of 10K. This is in big part to all of your efforts to help spread the word as well as your creativity and generosity to volunteer to participate in these activities. There is so much buzz on DC.org right now and from what I hear some other sites as well about what DC.org members are accomplishing in such a short period of time. Anyways, there seems to be more interest from the media about all of this. As you know we have very strict guidelines we must follow with regards to the American Cancer Society and a promise we made to David, is family, and management. It is extremely important that Blake and I are informed of all potential media coverage (print, online, tv). We are required to notify the national organization for approval, and we also have to monitor what information is relayed in the coverage. We want to continue to support each of you and hope that the buzz just gets bigger. Please, Please, Please be sure to alert us to any potential media. if you want to contact your local media to help generate support for your team's efforts, please let us know and we will help you with a press release that meets all of the guidelines we must follow.
