I know you've been lurking, you've said so yourself. So when you announced (on my friggin birthday) that you're coming to Asia, I cried. Okay? But not in a bad way, don't worry. wink.gif

So I just remembered this tagline I saw on a billboard posted on the highway I pass everyday to work..It said, "Put a deadline on those dreams" and I remember you saying that you're giving yourself until you're 26 to actually make it big. Guess the time is right, now...Even my mom thinks you're destined to be this year's American Idol. smile.gif Congratulations, David!!! biggrin.gif I can't believe it's been more than two months since you picked up the title of 2008's American Idol and cried your eyes out on that stage. While that was happening, I was getting my Starbucks and when I went back to the office, they said you won so. wink.gif And yeah, I'm on the other side of the world so I had to rely on video streams and forums and what nots. When I got home, my family was already watching the show and laughing at that Guru Pitka thing you did, which by the way, still cracks me up. wink.gif

So I just want to thank you for your beautiful music because you have no idea how much it has touched my life...Seriously. Your music has helped me move on from a bad break up and literally find happiness again. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. I really, really appreciate your talent, your music, and all these things that are happening in your life right now. I love how you're so full of humility and love and respect for the people who care for you and your fans. I can't describe how you make me feel when you make it a point to make people smile. smile.gif

Thank you is trite, as you said but I'm saying it nonetheless. Thank you so much for your music. It really means a lot to me that you're sharing this wonderful gift with the world. smile.gif Stay true and humble (and such a sweetheart!), David, and I hope even more good things come to you and to those you love. wink.gif
