i remember listening to that song a lot years ago... it was the fav song of a guy I had a crush on and I loved it the first time I listened to it. It still reminds me of that guy.
I think it's adorable David cried to it... That one and This I Promisse You by Nsync were the songs I'd listen to before going to bed... when I was like 15/16.

Braking up with him over the phone? That is so meen and unsensitive ...... shame on you who ever you are . I think she never deserved him anyway. This reminds me of The Truth's lyrics .... "You don't want me anymore" .... now I'm feeling even sadder. (Where is a crying smiley when you need one?)

So, some girl actually broke up with our man, David over the telephone. Bet she's kicking herself in the behind right now. Obviously there have been many other foolish girls too since so many of his most beautiful old songs from pre-Idol days all talk about lost love and breaking up. Gee whiz girls, where were your heads???? What was the matter, was he spending more time with making music than you thought he needed to or was he just too nice of a guy? The man with his beautiful music was right in their pockets and they let him go. Your loss girls, but our gain.

I definitely know that song and its a great one! There are certain pieces of info given out about david that i feel leary about reading because i feel that it is his business not mine. Then there is info that makes me want to scream...Give me the dirt!!! All I know is that had I ever had the chance to get ahold of David, I would not be breaking up with him. What were the other girls smoking? I mean seriously. Poor David, that's just plain rude to break up with someone over the phone, even if you are in 7th grade. Does his socks smell or something, I don't see what could be that bad about him. I've never heard of "too nice" most of the guys today are @$$holes (except for those of you with good guys) I can't believe I'm going to quote Simon but David is a breath of fresh air. Oh well, those girls don't know what they're missing, I bet they really are beating themselves up about it. But it's for our good that they did.

what the hell were they thinking?!?! seriously, none of the guys at my school are half as amazing as dave. as much as i'd love to have david himself, that's not going to happen, so i'd love to find someone similar. i think david needs to write a how-to book for men!

My ex-bf Jerry just broke up w/ me like 4 days ago and I haven't cried untill now! Jerry and I r still friends and I was looking at his myspace page and found out he has a gf all ready, who is 20 and I looked 4 the song I Believe and I started crying! The worst thing is that Jerry broke up w/ me on myspace!!!! All well, now David and I have something in commin!

DC has so many wonderful qualities that these girls must have been stupid to break up with him ever, or their values misplaced. At this point, I hope DC is glad that those girls showed their true colors and he got away from them. He only deserves the best of the best particularly in the heart, soul, and mind categories which are the hardest to find and the most important. I hope he realizes that. I want him to find women with good hearts and souls first, then go to looks. Then, he might find what he's looking for.

It's definitely the loss of those girls who broke up with David. And to do it via the telephone? That's not only mean and insensitive, it's a totally cowardly thing to do when breaking up is concerned. Just a opinion of mine though.
