LOL i actually LOVE country music, I just dislike her because she's a freaking robot. Seriously she is the most boring performer I have ever seen. Great singer, boring as CRAP. And people just act like she's the greatest freaking thing to happen to music.... I could name about 10 females in country music who either sing AS well as her or at least write and play ALL of their songs. She's a good vocalist, but that's it.

I was a really avid AI watcher before season 6. I'd watch it on occasion.
The first season I liked Kelly Clarkson.
Season 5, I'd only watch when Chris Daughtry was performing.
Then last season is when I really got into it because I fell in love with Blake. He just really stood out to me. He's amazing... I loved him right from his audition and have loved him ever since. I also liked Chris Richardson, Gina Glocksen, and Jordin Sparks.
This season I like David Cook, David Archuleta, Michaels Johns, and Kady Malloy.
Before they got cut, I loved Brandon Green and Colton Swon! Brandon's auditioning next season so I'm excited for that.

she does. she has ALOT of like 11 year olds. but she also has plenty of DIEHARDS, a la Claymates.. except that they're mostly creepy old men. I met a lot of them on the boards for Kellie Pickler, which they might have just called Carriefans 2.0 because that's what it was. You pretty much couldn't even say you didn't like Carrie or you'd get stoned.

I've faithfully watched 6 out of 7 seasons - caught a little bit of S1 but since it was on during the summer I didn't tune in all that much. But I did love Tamyra Gray.

My all-time faves, other than David of course (he is #1 now), are Chris Daughtry, Blake Lewis, Clay Aiken, and Kimberley Locke. I was so happy to see K-Lo on Don't Forget the Lyrics Thursday. She was so much fun!

The other contestants I liked a lot were LaToya London (S3), Nadia Turner (S4), Paris Bennett (S5), and Melinda Doolittle (S6). Melinda was such a sweetheart to everybody during the Idols tour last year.

Oh, and Gina Glocksen (S6). How can I forget ROCK THE GLOCK!

And of the past winners, my faves were Ruben Studdard and Carrie Underwood. I know, a lot of people here don't like Carrie, and that's OK! I still think she's fab.

Word! I miss season five. Even though my two favorite AI contestants have come out of the last two seasons (Blake last year, and DC this year, obviously), I liked season five as a whole a lot more. There really wasn't a top 10 contestant I didn't like. Well, I wasn't a huge fan of Pickler's singing, but she was pretty damn entertaining. Haha.

I wanted Kim to win the $1 mil so badly! But it is so cool that she made a commitment to raise the $ that she "gambled" with and Wayne Brady is going to volunteer this summer.

Wow, I feel so oblivious. This is the first season I really paid any attention to. That being said, I was all about Jason Castro. Something about his awkwardness in the face of interacting with others, it was so endearing. When he got the boot, my energy was transferred to Cook. Now that the season is over, I'm realizing that Michael Johns was great, as was Carly. I never liked Archie; his voice simply doesn't parallel my musical tastes, but I'm beginning to appreciate how naive and goofy he is.

Season One: I didn't watch.

Season Two: Only watched occasionally but I liked Clay Aiken.

Elliott Yamin. But that's probably me being biased because I already saw him live and met him.

wow when I went to look at the other seasons, I don't remember like any of the contestants. But thats cause during seasons I only watch who I liked and I fast-forward the rest of the performances, lol. o_O
season 7 is still the best one ever. I actually liked pretty much everyone. But #1 reason for watching was David Cook.

I didn't watch seasons 1-3, but I like Kelly Clarkson and Clay.

I started watching in season 4 . I don't like country music, but I liked Carrie on Idol. I like some of her current music, like the song from ''Encanted''

Seaon 5, hands down for me, it was Elliott Yamin. I loved him the minute I heard him sing on Idol. I was lucky enough to go to his concert and to meet him. He was down to earth and very appreciative of the fans.

Season 6, Melinda Doolittle. I'm waiting for her album.

Season 7, hands down, David Cook. He's the most talented American Idol winner. I like some of the other AI7 contestants. I love Cookie!

I didn't pay attention to AI until recently, only when I fell in love with David Cook, I became huge fan.
Of course DC is my favorite and Archie is my second favorte... and I find Danny Noriega quite attractive in his own way, a little bit hilarious but quite adorable, defintely idol material, I guess.
btw Danny's face reminds me of Jessica Alba,
