From what I hear, the buses usually pull in between 1 & 2. Sounds like alot of people will be getting there about 10 or 11ish to get a good spot.

I originally planned 2 go early tomorrow but the concert doesn't start till 7pm. I'd have like 5 hours to kill.
I think I'll just go early on Tuesday (since I don't have tickets for that night) then I can just go home after the meet.

Good Luck, and have fun!

Each location is different. In NJ this past week - the first day I think they got to the venue around 1 or 1:30P. On Saturday - Atlantic City - they got stuck in traffic so they did not arrive until 4P.

I think a best bet for the first day at the venue would be around 1-1:30P. I would think that people will start getting there before 11A.

I think if you take a look on the board - there are some folks going to the Coliseum either Monday or Tuesday and there is probably a thread that talks about when people are meeting.

Good Luck and have fun.

Hello! I was at Atlantic City. We waited from 12:00 to 4:00 and because they got stuck in traffic from New York, they never came it.
It was really really dissapointing. Especially because the way to great them was set up so nicely for the fans. There was a line to stay on
where they said you would be able to get autographs, and on the other side a great spot to take pictures. We could not beleive they
did not come out. It was announced at 4:00 that they could not come out because they hit traffic, however, we had no idea that they
were going to come out until them. The workers kept on saying it should be any minute now. We are the only fans I beleive that
this has happened to before their concerts. What luck! I am going tomorrow and I am hoping that they left New Jersey over the weekend
so they will not hit traffic again. I don't think they are used to New York and New Jersey Traffic. However, because of what happened on
Saturday, I think they will make an extra effort to come out on Monday to meet their fans. Good luck!

I'd get there around 11ish to get a good spot. They could come as late as 3 or not come at all, but it's better to have a good spot then get there late and not be able to get against the barricades. Have fun!! smile.gif

I'm going to the concert tonight and going back tomorrow since I would have to do two round trips if I went today. I have little kids that will be with me and it was just easier to haul them in tomorrow. There is unlikely to be traffic at Noon heading East onto Long Island so I don't think there will be that issue. I'm going to try and figure out a few things tonight as to where every thing will be set up. I wanted to go yesterday to check things out, but my usually understanding hubby said, "No way-not three round trips at $4 a gallon." So, I'll see what I see tonight. I'll be the one on the 5th with two little kids, a stroller, a kids' portable potty, and various and assorted things to keep us cool for 2-3 hours. I'll be hard to miss! And I'll tell you, I'm already getting extremely nervous about the whole thing and I'm hopeful that my anxiety will not get the best of me and I chicken out! I think I would rather go, have DC not come out, then not go and possible miss him. That would be far more dissapointing!

Well, I sent the Coliseum an e-mail the other day about whether or not the Idols will be greeting fans and signing autographs etc. They just go back to me...All they said was "We have no information about Meet & Greets with the Idols."

So, there not exactly saying they're NOT going to do it...right??? Good news maybe, for those trying today???

The meet and greets are managed by American Idol Management so no - the venue will not give out the information regarding the M&G.

There should be barracades outside of the venue where the idols will be signing autographs and meeting the fans when they arrive on the scene. Also there should be an autograph session after the performance/after party - out side probably the same area were barracades are set up.
