DC and DA are presenting an award and will be accepting their awards - no performing. The Award Program is actually tonight and the airing of the program is tomorrow night.

Why would they come out and say they won before the actual award show?

They didn't- there are spys on the inside for those of us that are impatient

lindz, I'm willing to bet that it was an info leak- possibly from someone that went to the taping or from a loose-mouthed FOX employee.

Neither of the Davids would just announce that to the world.

There is an insider on another thread on this board who has been reporting the winners to us. This information is available elsewhere on the Internet as well.

In most cases with these types of awards, the winners are told ahead of time that they won so they'll show up. This didn't occur to me until I got into the other thread but with the Davids who have to be flown in and have so mnay other obligations right now they likely wouldn't have bothered unless they both won.

That's good news! Congrats to both of them!

Not everybody reads news alerts. The tomato scare went on for three days before I even heard about it, and then it was only because I went to Burger King and saw a sign saying they didn't have any tomatoes.

I don't watch the news, I don't read the newspaper, and I don't have AP Google alerts.

It would have been nice for it to be labeled a spoiler, but it doesn't matter anymore. It's not like it's the Grammys. Then, I'd be POed knowing in advance.
