I thought david was suppose to get a surfboard??

He did get one but the show edited certain parts of the taping and David's award and acceptance speech was edited out.

He did get the award - just off line.

That totally sucks they cut it out, I could have done without the Jonas Brothers (no offence, I just don't get them) stuff myself or the dance off.

He mentioned on the cellcast tonight that both he and Archie did get surfboards. Their awards just weren't presented on the air.

According to an Archie fan on another board he never even received an award during the ceremony and that might have happened for Cookie too.

Some of the people there last night looked like they felt too old to be included. Hayden looked bored out of her skull, and I don't think she's even legal yet. Fergie and Kristen Bell looked a little uncomfortable, too. I'm glad Cookie had Doc (and maybe KC) with him so he didn't feel totally out of place.

Neal (Doc was with him)? I have to look Neal up - I don't know anything about him.

Wait. Doc? If I am thinking of the right person, why would he be there?

He was probably there as DC's guest - Neal (Doc) is David's 1st new band member.

however they did flash to Dc a couple times throughout show and of course present and they did mention his win when they introduced him and I don't think they mentioned DA
I laughed bc Jeff looked so uncomfortable there LOL

Yeahhh. Everytime they showed cookie in the audience, I seriously jump off my couch. Well, even though I had a whole liter of diet coke before..

yeah it was a major bummer that his part was edited out, they should have put his part in instead of Lauren conrad (?) i agree, that whole 'ask the jonas brothers" was annoying more than anything. I can feel their "pain"; I felt totally out of place watching it. I guess I am getting "too old" to get Teen Choice Awards... Only reason I was watching was because of David Cook!

Good thing they flashed to DC sitting up front several times...that kept me motivated to keep watching the show.

Did they even 'accept' the awards? I thought that since they weren't going to shown, that they didn't even get presented the surf boards (they received them, but no presentation per se). I could be mistaken, though.
