I'm going! I'm bringing my mother. She's never ever been to a concert before! She's worried about the travel but I keep telling her she needs an adventure and what better?

I sure hope CT comes out for the Idols. Hopefully the audience isn't full of insurance executive types.

I just realized that they have a day off tomorrow, so they will most likely be in Hartford. I feel bad for them. Although it may be a good day of rest, since there is absolutely nothing to do in the city, or anywhere within an hour or two travel time. Maybe they'll get to go to the shore or something.

I don't live there anymore, but was born and raised there. Connecticut is a beautiful state, but Hartford kind of died a long time ago.

I'm right over the CT border in MA. I wish I was going. Just couldn't afford tix. I'm going to make sure I don't miss David's solo tour. Love him!!!

I wonder if any of the Idols will attend their concert to say hello since they worked with him on the show. Maybe one will make a special appearance and sing with him ! My dad and husband will be there so I'll have them be on the look out !

I thought for sure there would be a lot more that were going to Hartford. Manchester is actually closer for me but I couldn't get tickets there.

The venue is practically sold out. Hopefully they aren't all Archie Fans. LOL But if they are then all the more DC for the 3 of us that are on this board.<G>

I'm not going... I've got my sister's kids for the night. I am thinking though, of trying for Bridgeport next month.

I am from Windsor, CT. It's about 10 minutes north of Hartford. I am going to the concert with my sister. We don't have good seats but I am just happy I am going to be there. I work in Hartford and I am going to get out early tomorrow to see if I could meet the Id ols. Please let me know where people are going to be. I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will be there -- rabid (but well behaved) Cookie fans and official Word Nerds! Been counting the days since May 21 ... can't believe tomorrow is the day we'll finally hear and see him perform live! Hopefully, that'll tide us over 'til the solo tour ... we're "insurance company" chicks but we are UBER Cookie lovers -- it's all David all the time -- at home, in the car, on the bus ...

I'm hoping to be in Hartford by 1. I'm driving from Maine. It's probably about 6 hours. More if I get lost. I have no idea where I'm going. Guess I'd better look up directions.

I'm going to look for people hanging out outside the XL center when I get there. Hope to meet you all there!

I hope they get a good reception in CT. CT can have some bum crowds sometimes. I remember seeing Madonna in Hartford, and compared to NYC, etc....it was a very low-key, disinterested kinda crowd. I HATE that. I'll be sure to do my part in Bridgeport next month.

I have officially LOST MY MIND! After paying over $600 to go to the 2nd night in Newark last week (worth EVERY penny!) I JUST bought 2 tickets for tonight's show in Hartford! ...Am dragging my husband. Couldn't resist Floor section 3 Row B!!!!!!
