Well im a big charity supporter in NZ and i have one similar. Over here when a kid goes in for any type of cancer related treatment (x-ray, chemo etc) they get given a bead to put on their necklaces. So once a year for child cancer week you can buy a string bracelet with a single bead on it to show your support. I dont know if his means the same thing but it might?

Yep yellow/orange is for leukemia. We dont have those ones over here but i got a blue one for child cancer. It goes with my collection of wristbands lol.

In my country i think you can only get the during the cancer week but i have no idea when you can get it in Houston lol

I could be wrong - but a couple of weeks ago, one the shows cannot remember which one prior My Heroes, he told the audience that he normally dedicates My Heroes to his brother, but he met a family whose child was just diagnosed with leukemia - so maybe he is wearing the bracelet in honor of this child and others who have leukemia.

God bless his soul biggrin.gif he's so sweet! I have a different colour wristband for every charity :Canteen, Child Cancer, Breast Cancer, Cancer Society, Zipper Kids (the NZ heart children society) and Downs Syndrome Association. Ive had someone close to be affected by all them. So ilove seeing someone else that does a charity overload.

Stef - that is wonderful.

One of David's goals is to do charity work.

I know, thats what really stood out about him. I always do fundraising for charity. I do the 24 hour relay for life with my family every year. I walked in rain for 6 hours last year biggrin.gif
Hell i even stood on the corner of the main street with a BRIGHT blue apron on, collecting money for child cancer week biggrin.gif

We do that in Canada too!! I think it's such a great idea. It's such a positive affirmation when you see all the beads on their necklaces smile.gif
