I thought this was really cool. I have now twice heard B105.7 radio station in Indianapolis use a snippet of TOML, as well as David's name (no mention of AI, BTW), as part of an ad for the station itself. The station is a soft rock format that carries both older and newer artists. David is featured alongside Leona Lewis and John Mayer in the "best new music" part of the ad. I thought this was almost more significant than just pure airplay. It took 2 months to get him on the air in Indy (at least that I heard), but this almost makes up for that oversight. I think I finally found good news that no one beat me to!

that is great news.
I keep listening for WPLJ-95.5 in NY to start adding David to their list when it comes to the stations' ads.
I know that this will happen in the near future.

Time Of My Life used as the station's ID? Cool Beans!!
It definitely bodes well for David to be placed alongside Leona Lewis, as fast-rising stars.
Also, both of them are my faves!

Yay. I also hear him on 99.5 (hot ac) too. They play him every hour.

It's huge, and it's happening all over and very quickly. David is the "it" boy right now. He's #4 on Adult Contemporary radio (which is B105.7's format) and TOML is being used in all sorts of ways - SYTYCD, The Espys, etc. TOML has taken off and David is RCA's hottest name right now.

More good news for our boy, but in the immortal words of Al Jolson in the first talking movie, The Jazz Singer, "You ain't heard nothin' yet!" Wait until his new stuff is released...

Ok, so what radio stations in the LA area are playing his music - honestly, I heard once on Jack FM 93.1 (a great station really) with ZZ TOP only. Anybody - help here??

Sirius Hits 1 has been using DC in a promo for their morning show for about two weeks now:
http://www.supload.com/music/Sirius-Dc-Mor...ACJ8US5TQO.htmlAnd even though they've been playing the song for 9 weeks now, Hits 1 is still using TOML in their "Ear Poppin' New Music" promotions throughout the day.
Also this afternoon I heard TOML twice within a half hour -- once in my car on my local Top 40 station (K92 Roanoke, VA) and then on Sirius Hits 1 when I got back to my house (there's also an AC station in my market that's plays TOML.)
But, to show you how ubiquitous TOML has become: I was in a furniture store on Tuesday looking at mattresses and TOML came on over the Muzak system!!

Haha, that's a great promo. David is hilarious. I love his speaking voice almost as much as I love his singing voice!

I noticed on the Teen Choice Awards a few nights ago (I was watching it with my daughter), in a pre-show interview, David said that the song had kind of "slowed down" a bit in the past weeks, but has had a "resurgence" lately (love his use of words). David said he didn't know exactly why this has occurred, but said he thinks it's great! Gotta love him ....

Ha! Ha! That Sirius promo is a crack-up!!! David deadpans it perfectly.
Our local podunk station has been playing TOML consistently throughout the day since early June, though I have yet to hear it on any of the big DC stations I listen to.

I was watching America's Got Talent last night and TOML was used as background music when one of the contestants got promoted to the top 40. Probably not too unusual, since I believe Simon Cowell is one of the producers of the show. I suspect we will probably see it used quite a bit in the Olympics. It's perfect for that. Wasn't sure where to post this so maybe someone can relocate it to the right place.

C100 FM in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada has been playing TOML since early June. There are a big legion of fans here in the Maritimes. Maybe he will bring his solo tour here.

WPLJ -95.5 NYC runs the same ad - however theirs links, John Mayer, Leona Lewis and Daughtry. We still need to get to the point (and it will happen) when Cook's name is in the line of ads.
