A Man and His Guitar
(Serenity) 08/07/08

Crosses the stage, to face the crowd
Alone in his mind, it's a dream
Pulls up a chair, and settles in
They're all there for him, so it seems

Hands caress the steel of the strings
Vibrations sends chills through his soul
The melodies spilling over the edge
It's all he needs or ever wants to know

Pictures dancing within his mind
Life imitates life in the songs
He gives his all, to faceless crowd
Right here, is where he belongs

Giving of himself, sharing all that he can
Not believing that he’s the star
I’ve come to play to whoever will hear
Just a man and his guitar…

Very, very nice. I cannot express myself this way, so I really admire someone who can. David sure is inspirational, isn't he?
