I drove up from Nashville on Saturday 8/16 to Lexington,about 3 1/2 hours away,but i just had to see David Cook in real life!All of the forums I had read basically said around 1-2pm the buses come in.I arrived in Lexington around 1pm and was not able to check into hotel just yet so decided to proceed acrooss the street to Rupp arena to see if anyone was around.As we were walking over three buses pulled up,so my friend and I decided to hang out a few minutes to see who got on or off the buses.I must have mentioned that I was hoping David Cook was coming out because one of the other few fans there informed me he had already arrived and was waiting in lobby.

After hearing that I immediately rushed to the hotel/arena lobby and there he was just standing there so sexy looking in his red baseball cap.As we rushed over, the security guard stopped and said no pics or autographs at this time.But when we asked if we could just meet him he gladly accepted.

So David turns to us reaches out to shake our hand and introduces himself!He actually stood there and spoke to us for several minutes talking about the tour and how tired he had become and about recording his album.He was very sweet and charming.He shook our hands goodbye and left to meet his family.And now I think I love him even more than before!:)

Oh cool! You are lucky you got to meet him. Even with no autographs or pictures, that is still good.
