I won't make it in time to see him before the show it's about a 6 hour drive for me.. I was wondering if he MIGHT come out after the show or if there's no chance. If he never comes out after the shows anymore do any of the idols?

When we were in DC, David told us before the concert that he was apologizing for not being able to come out after the concerts anymore. He said he was behind on the record and wouldn't be able to come out. He felt bad, but we told him he has to do what he has to do. So it sounds like he hasn't been out since then.

He is not coming out after the concert anymore. If he does it's a rare, special occasion. Fans should not plan on it. They should instead plan on afternoon meet and greets... and look for news/announcments here on d-c.org. We have a great network of members out there finding things out and reporting back, hoping to prevent fellow fans from being disappointed or wasting their time waiting. I dont think any Atlanta fans got to meet him unless they went to the private events....He didnt come out after the show and the Idols did Larry King Live in the afternoon so everyone that was waiting didnt get to see anyone from what I understand. I was at the Atlanta concert praying that he would come out after the concert and he didnt.....Hopefully he will make it up to us Atlanta fans and come back to Atlanta real soon for the solo tour with lots of meet and greets:)

He came out on Friday, August 29th after the concert in KC!!!

Yeah I am hoping that may mean the end of the post-show absences! I'm sure it was just for KC, but since I've been to 5 shows so far and he didn't come out afterwards for any, I'm hoping the 2 I have left MAY hold some hope!

Yeah, I was among the disappointed fans who got there early to see him in Atlanta but he never came out. It angered me a bit that although he didn't come out before the show in KC because of press, he still made it out after. Wondering why he didn't do that in Atlanta. I know KC is his hometown but its not like people didn't vote for him here in Atlanta. I really wanted to meet him. I'm going to the concert in Tulsa so hopefully he'll come out then... since its the last show, I don't see why he wouldn't.

of course there is no way to know but I would doubt he will be out AFTER in Tulsa bc he is headed to KC for football opener to sing NA with Andrew so maybe try before show..

David has said many times that he does not come afterwards because of album obligations. It is not personal and I think it's highly inappropriate to be angry at him for something that is not his fault. He is not choosing to come out afterwards to purposely piss people off. The M & G is a privilege, not a right.

I know he has said that, and I know that, which is why I got there early at my concert before the show. It wasn't his fault that they had to tape Larry King Live so I wasn't mad at him, I was mad at the fact they had to tape it THEN. I knew he wasn't coming out after the show because he said he wasn't. It was only when I heard he came out in KC that I was shocked because I don't want to miss out on meeting him, thats why.



Yeah I'm planning to get there REALLY early. Hopefully no more surprise Larry King Live tapings will occur.
