hello TC, first off , i think your work is great. second, i'm new to forums and stuff like this and am not sure if i even know the difference between a sig and a banner. all i know is that i would very much like one of those things that shows at the bottom of the messages i post. i have seen some with like 2 rows, where there are pics across a top row , and more across a bottom row. maybe that'll work, i don't know, you can blend, or do whatever it is you do, your the expert. whatever you feel will work best for what i want to portray. i want the whole thing to have an inspiring/romantic feel to it..leading up to his win. i can feel it in my heart...an affirmation for david, hope and inspiration to the rest of us who are at that place he was when axium fell apart or when midwest kings didn't work either. whether it be music, acting, politics, medicine, or whatever one's dream may be...damn, i'm already crying..........i know its something difficult to capture, i wouldn't know where to begin, even if i had the technological prowess to do so.

The quote i would like to use is:

The pictures: i've not used photobucket. all my pics i've gotten from this site, i don't know how to put the pictures here big, just know how to upload the small thumb pics. but anyway, i have a few axium and midwest kings pics that may go well with the first part of the quote : sometimes good things fall apart. and then i have a few pics of david cook that i think make significant marks throughout his idol journey, which i feel would go great with the second part of the quote: so better things can fall together. if you have pictures that you feel would better suit this project, feel free to use them. i post these particular ones, cuz their all i got. so here goes:

if you have a picture that captures the whole winning moment confetti and all (or create the feel), whether it be by himself or with the other idols on stage, that would be great. I know this is a lot of pics to work with, you don't have to use all, or these particular ones for that matter (if you have better, use them). if you can work the pic of his jump suspended in air into the whole thing that would be great. i absolutely love that picture. other than that, i hope i have described enough of what i want this to be, so run with it.... i can't wait to read back from you. Could we make the the same pic black and white, but turn it on's it's side so that I can have the whole pic of David and the guitar, and in the bottom right corner in small-ish lettering have Rock on.

TC, OMG, i love it, love it, love it. Great Work!! Wow!! thank you so much, i love how you placed that one pic of the jump in the middle of the second part. there is only a few things that if you can fix would be great, if not, its ok too. there are a couple of figures in the background that are kinda spooky looking. to the left of the jump in the air, there is something that looks like a grim reaper? and then after the jump, there is a man, is that his body guard? he looks a bit wierd. if theres a way to just blur those out or replace with something else would be great, they just look out of place. oh, and another thing, i'm a bit worried about crediting marilyn monroe on that quote. I know the phrase is long, and looks small enough as it is, i don't want it any smaller that it can't be read, so should i just write her name underneath the banner after i post it? you know, kinda like how when people credit you underneath, or they write their word nerd #, something like that, but if it doesn't really need to be done then don't bother. but wow, this is great. wow. i cant stop saying that, there is no way i would've been able to do that on my own. its truly amazing how you dedicate your free time to this. thank you so much. **essie**

I'm figuring you probably have a pretty good supply of pics to work from, so I'll let you run with what you have if you don't mind. If you need me to upload some, let me know...my supply isn't huge yet, but I have some to work with.

I want the main background in a deep red...almost burgundy? With his initials centered in the middle in black and white. And down the sides I want the pics. Something that blends together. On one side, I'd like candids... goofy pics from backstage and interviews and pre-Idol. On the other side, I'd like more performance stuff. Idol and tour?

Does this sound like something you can work out? I'd be so appreciative!

essie: I don't think the credit for the quote is anything to worry about. I make graphics all the time with lyrics from songs and very rarely, if ever, do I include who was the original writer/singer of the lyrics. As for the creepy bodyguard in the background (), it looks like you got him blurred out already! It's such a small space, I could fit hardly anything in there to cover the man up.
