OK, who's excited! We're only a few days out, and we wanted to make sure that everyone who's coming out knows where things will be going on this weekend.

Thursday, August 28th- Nick Gibson will be playing at PBR's Big Sky for the Pat Green afterparty (more info to follow). Show him some love for all he's been doing for us!

Friday, August 29th- Peeps will be arriving throughout the day for the event.
-Buses in the afternoon
-Dinner/bonding over our love of DC and advocacy
-Concert at the Sprint Center @ 7

The BIG DAY!
Saturday, August 30th- Cook Fans Unite 2 Fight Event at the Power at Light District! Volunteers- please arrive @ 1:30. The event start @ 3pm, and Nick Gobson will be preforming, along with all the wonderful trivia games, raffles, etc you've been hearing about. You know you don't want to miss this!
-If that wasn't enough excitement, one last chance to show David Kansas City's love at the concert that night (Sprint Center @ 7).

I am so excited. I'm getting my Sidekick today so I'll do my best to keep Jul, Sammi & Nicole up to date on what's going on in KC so they can provide live updates. I'm sure I won't be the only one doing this!

My tummy hurts because I'm scared about flying tomorrow night! So worth it, though!

I am bummed to be missing the Thursday and Friday fun, but I am sure that BLake, sesot and Jess will keep us all informed on the goings on. I can't wait to meet everyone on Saturday!!

Me too. I'm getting there Thurs afternoon/evening, but already have the night and Friday planned with other things...but Sat..I'll be there with bells on! (ok, so not really hehe)

Capital idea, Anita! For instance, I'm going to the Big Sky tomorrow night but have absolutely no idea what anybody else who's going looks like. I've seen some pictures on the board of course, but that doesn't always guarantee I'll recognize the face when I see it up close and personal.
