Hey all! Who's excited Just a few days away now!

We're working really hard to make sure that everyone can relive the experience of this weekend in some part. I'm looking for volunteers to record video and post experiences. Since there will be so many of us there, we're hoping to coordinate a sort of tag team effort in order to allow individuals to focus on specific aspects of the show without becoming overwhelmed. For example, one person could video hello, and then have the oppertunity to enjoy the rest of cook's set without having to worry about the camera (other than taking pictures of course ) The added bonus is that youtube videos could get uploaded all at the same time, instead of one person posting one by one...I'm sure we'll all be wanting sleep

Jess, I'll be up for whatever. Since we're most interested in David & Mavid, maybe we can split it that way. For video, we might need to see where everyone is sittin gto see who will get the best footage.

We can talk when you get here about whatever you need me to do.

BUT everyone else who's in town, and we KNOW there are more of you . . . please help us out with the review/postings/updates for the Board. So many folks want real-time (or as close to real-time) updates as we can get. This is a special weekend for David, and we're definitely going to help everyone at D-C.org know what's going on -- but we can't do it alone!

As someone who can't make this concert, I will appreciate every little thing you can show us, especially banter, emotion etc. Thanks in advance for making this happen for us as we sit breathlessly waiting at our computers.

Jess and Lisa, I volunteered to be on the tag team and am awaiting my assignment. I think Jess already sent me an email on my home account, which I can't access at work today.

But I'll probably have the camera working non-stop the whole weekend anyway. My office is across the street from the arena so whenever I can, I'll be able to sprint over (from the Sprint Center...get it? yeah, ya do! ) and post updates as much in real time as is humanly possible. I know many others are set up to call in other members of the board for true real-time posting.

No worries! D-C.org'ers are nothing if not organized, right?!?

Wow. I can't believe this thread is up. I will be providing LIVE updating the entire weekend thanks to Jul, Sammi and Nicole. I will be calling/texting them to let them know what exciting things are going on (who's at the buses, if David received the 8/20 Blog responses, etc). So check these threads for all the info. Thanks.

I will take as much video as I can, but I only have one spare battery and I worry that I might not last the whole night. I'll talk to you in KC, Jess and you let me know what you need.

That's really great - I know that there is a thread on the board regarding a mural that is going to be unveiled on Friday I think in honor of David. I love how the city is doing all these wonderful events.

I'm not entirely sure where it is.. maybe somewhere by the expressway? The girl who posted it said it caused her to miss her exit.

Ok, so I don't come out of my Fangirl home very much anymore, and it's been awhile since I've made an actual post outside of it, but I used to be a part of the other parts of the board a lot, but...like I said, it's been awhile, so I don't know a LOT of people that have become regulars on here since then, and I'm sure you guys don't know me LoL

Anyway, I HAD to come out for this weekend. I have to post with everyone. It's going to be such a big weekend. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. My ACS video that BLake got me a part of will be debuting and that's the part I'm nervous about I'm so, so excited for David though. All I can think about is that day where all of us came together to watch his Homecoming Visit for Idol, live. That was such a fun day, but it was so emotional, which I'm sure this one will be.

So yeah, since I'm coming out to post on the regular board again, I hope to meet the people I don't know, and maybe talk to some awesome people I've been missing

I think I should've worded my post better I'm not going to be in KC, unfortunately. I really, really wish I could be so that I could see my video play for everyone, but I can't What I meant by "coming out" was that I was coming out of my Fangirl home to post on the regular board I just hope you guys will take me back in after all this time LOL!

I am going to both shows. I don't have a video camera, but my friend and I will be taking pictures. We are staying near the Sprint Center (I don't know which hotel because my friend made the reservations). I am bringing my laptop, and my plan is to go back to the hotel after everything is over both nights and post pictures, experiences, etc. If there is anything else I can do, I will help. I'll also PM you. Thanks for coordinating the effort. I think that all kinds of magical things may happen this weekend when Cookie returns to his home turf.

OMG, can you believe that in less than 24 hours, we will be going to the Sprint Center and will get to see Cookie.

Der....sorry. I knew that you were not going to be there and I totally forgot! We will be sure to get the moment the video is playd on video for you.

I wasn't getting really excited until today, been real busy with family life. I can't wait until tomorrow. I'm going to both concerts and my 4 year old daughter who is also going, can't wait to see David and she actually believes she will be on stage with him, ah how cute!!!!

Hey guys in case you were on the fence about getting tickets for tonight. Now would be the time to get them for tonights show as they have released some very good seats on the floor. They seem to be in Floor 2 row 9 which from what I heard turns out to be about the 2nd row for that section. So if you are talking to anyone who is at the barricades and they want better tickets or don't have tickets tell them to head over to the box office.

Also ask them if the barricades or over by the Truman Road side of the building, because that might affect where we park tonight.
