Congratulations to everyone! You have all worked so hard and been such wonderful advocates in the fight against this devastating disease. Take a minute or two to enjoy this moment; you deserve it. Your hard work, creativity and perseverence made this happen! Thank you!

Last night, when David heard that we had made goal and heard our total (as of then), he wanted everyone to know that he was so happy for us, and he just sends everyone a big "THANK YOU!"

Congrats, D-C.org-ers and all David Cook fans. He really does have the BEST fans in the entire world. You all just take my breath away with your commitment. Thank you.

CONGRATULATIONS, once again, to EVERYONE apart of ALL of this. I'm so, so proud to be a member of this fanbase, and of David's. I can't believe how much we've done because of this ONE man who's came into our lives. He's made so many people more aware, including myself.

Just like you Lisa, I'm blown away, I can't believe we not only reached the goal, but EXCEEDED it, AND four months before his birthday, amazing.

I will always say it, David DOES have the best fans around, he always will and I'm glad I can say I'm one of them.

It's incredible that we've reached two of our goals so quickly.

Question: Are we setting a new goal? I'm still collecting money so I assume I just keep doing the same thing.

I am so amazed and humbled by all the efforts and generosity and commitment that has gone into all of this, and I'm sure will continue to go on for as long as David allows us to. He is the ultimate inspiration but all of you are inspiring as well. So many amazing people have contributed so much to these efforts. I am so proud of all of you and am honored to be able to call you my friends and fellow fans.

David truly does have the best fans in the world. I'm sure he knows this.

Congrats on exceeding your goal guys! This whole effort was really amazing, I wish I could have taken part (moneyless teenager here without a PayPal account)...I did donate my hair today though when I got it cut professionally for the first time in (literally) forever. David must be so proud and happy that he has such great and motivated fans.

The KC fund-raiser event was a great time- I am so grateful to everyone who planned it! I won an autographed DC shirt--I love it! Hope you raised your goal for that event.

Laura and dejo, so glad you could come out for the event. As you can see from visiting the overall Cook Fans Conquering Cancer page, Kansas City is now the top fundraising team, helped by their team members such as Stacey and the event.

We're not going to talk about or set a new overall goal right now. The Chix are looking at the rest of the year and seeing what's feasible, possibly reorgnizing some things. Give us a couple of weeks, please.

I'm so happy to hear we're still going. I'm hoping to hit up my coworkers this month and make another donation myself. I'm still so thrilled that we hit the goal...and still counting!
