Yup...I have a song here of Evanescence's that I sung back in 2002/2003, soon after "Fallen" was released, and I found this song from them named "Anywhere" off of their first album, "Origin"....

...I personally think I sucked that day, but I wanna know what others think....do I suck like hell? Do I have a gift? Is this a sign of me being able to sing well?

Btw, this song was from "Toy Story 2", so I'm not singing about missing a long lost love that was a girl lol...I don't swing that way...sorry ...but it's about Jesse the toy who used to be her owner, Emily's, best friend....then when she got older, she stopped playing with toys, so Jesse was left underneath her bed for years. Finally Emily found her one day and smiled and held her tightly again, and she rode with her in her car, and then it turned out that she gave Jesse away to goodwill, so that she didn't want her anymore...and Jesse's remembering this during the song...it's a sad song, but it's so beautiful as well....*sigh*....

Actually I was planning on trying out for AI next year, and my friend Tiana made my month and said to keep lettin' her know when it is, because she'll come with me and support me.....it means a lot, since my family thinks it's stupid and won't go with me...not even for support....*sigh*.....so yeah, I'm excited, since I've tried the past 2 years to go, and I ALMOST went this year *If I got through and became friends with David, you'd all envy me greatly...you know it! *....so yeah....

I found this clip I recorded last year...it's of me singing Mandy Moore's "I Wanna Be With You".....now, I find it ironic that David likes the same girl that I think is the only decent singer out of the 'pop' era...I.E: Britney Spears...lol....Mandy is the only one that isn't screwed up or looks like she's a druggie of some kind....if you get what I'm saying....she's still pure in a sense rofl...

....but yeah, I LOVED this song back when it came out, and I remember playing it on repeat on my CD PLAYER and falling asleep to it....a CD PLAYER...*that's old school mp3 players, for all the young ones out there ...still not as old school as tape players, but still up there...*

Now, my obsessed self finds this song so unbelievably like a tribute song to Mr. Cook ROFL , and I admit, it almost is....but I gotta retain some of my maturity and say that it isn't....it's just an incredible song to listen and sing to....it doesn't have power vocalization in it, but that's part of the beauty of it....the softness of it is pretty, and maybe you can say almost haunting....the song leaves you wanting more from the singer.....

....now, I don't think I'll give that same effect, but I was just recording it for the sake of recording it, so I wasn't attempting for it....if I gave it that effect, then GREAT! If not, no biggie.....juuust wanting to know what people think...
