The picture of him in the car takes me back to when I was 15 and the guy I was with was 16. We steamed up the windows quite a bit until the cops happened to find us. It was a very compromising position to be found in.

Duran Duran!!!! OMG! I love them! I've had a major crush on Simon LeBon myself since I was about 14 years old. I remember watching the "Wild Boys" video and drooling over him on that wheel that was turning and his hair was all wet. smile.gif

I just started a 12 day vacation, so i'm doing absolutely nothing. biggrin.gif
Actually...i have various chores to do around the house, but i'm trying to just try and relax. I've been dealing with loads of stress, so i need a break. I think part of my emotional outbursts regarding David (getting all nervous &/or weepy on wed nights etc lol) has a lot to do with the overload of stress. At least that's what i tell myself tongue.gif

Cool beans about the movie filming nearby. Give Jake and James a kiss from me wink.gif

HA, I'll give em one from you.. I guess I can do that.. I'm not a huge fan of either of them. I mean, I think they are both GREAT actors but not really that into them. It would just be cool to meet them. Last year, George Clooney was here in my home town filming the movie Leatherheads and I saw him a couple of times. I never bothered him though cause I'm not a fan. I don't dislike him but just didn't care to meet him.

I'm sad cause I've never gotten the chance to see Duran Duran in concert.. I've always wanted to and when they were near tried to make it work but I always had other plans.. I did see Def Leppard back in the day though.. it's when they had that round stage that would turn.. I was D-runk and when that thing started to move, I thought I was gonna pass out..

I would have loved to have seen Bon Jovi in the late 80's...to bad I was like 5. But, I've seen them now 3 times within the last 7 years and they rock.

OMG, what a small world! That was an awesome, AWESOME show. We were a little bummed because Billy Idol canceled at the last minute (and my friend and I TOTALLY wanted to see him just to hear "White Wedding" - long story - has to do with Duran Duran, LOL!), but it worked out just fine because Simon, John and Andy played longer than they were originally going to. And we got plenty of M5! tongue.gif

Girl, you MUST go! I mean, MUST! They ROCK live. I've been to pretty much every tour since '87 (I didn't get to go to the famous '84 tour, but I've seen 'Sing Blue Silver' enough times to FEEL like I was there!), and they ALWAYS deliver.

Oh yeah, and what you were saying about Simon in the "Wild Boys" video? MAJOR hotness. But I like him all tender too...with an acoustic guitar...it's one thing I want for a David video too. David + acoustic guitar = tenderhearted rocker = me, puddle of mush! wub.gif

Been to about 20 shows of Bon Jovi's over the years.. my first was back in 1987.. LOVED IT!!!!!! They still rock out every single time.. ya know what is great? David Cook has the stage presence that Jon Bon Jovi has.. the type that owns the stage and your eyes are rivoted to..

I was so dehydrated after that show. OMG. But, it was so worth it! M5 was AMAZING!!!!! One of my favorite concerts ever!

LOL! I guess it's my turn. I'd have to say that one of my biggest fangirl moments was just last Tuesday. I had gotten home from the hospital and I was watching American Idol that I had recorded, and after David sang "All I Really Need Is You" and they all gave him such positive feedback, I was SO giddy and excited and happy for the rest of the night. I couldn't get the smile off of my face. My friend that was here told me I was acting crazy LOL

Another one...I guess something else could be that I bought this jumbo crossword puzzle book just because David does them and I want to do them too laugh.gif

I know there are others, but my mind is blank right now LoL
