Some of you may have read the "Signature Concert Moments" thread in the '2008 American Idols Live' forum. I am going to print and bind the list and thread and send it as a gift to David as a reminder of the amazing summer he just spent with the other Idols and his fans. It will be labeled as being a gift from d-c.org, as many here have contributed either directly or indirectly to putting the list together. I would like to include a collage of tour photos, including some of the best and most memorable moments from the concert, meet n greets, Mavids, other events that occured during the tour (like Oprah), etc. I would also like to be able to give credit where credit is due by labeling who the pics belong to (i.e. who took them or owns them).

So please send a reply and attach your favorite tour photo. Please only send photos that you own. If you want to recommend a photo that you don't own, then please identify the owner. The acknowlegment will be your d-c.org username unless otherwise specified. I can't guarantee that all pics will be used, as I will have to go through and choose, depending on how many are received.

I met David in Dallas, TX and took this awesome photo of him. It has been showing up in a lot of places....I think a lot of people love it. PLEASE give me credit. My name is Davida Bloomberg and I met David in Dallas and again in Tulsa....because of my ineteresting name he remembers me, so I'd love to have him know that I took this photo. Look at his incredible eyes - NO photoshop on his face or eyes...this is ALL David!!

I know this is my favorite! i have no idea how i was able to stay still long enough to take this photo... he was literally standing right above me lol. anyway let me know if you need anymore since you said you don't have alot.

Davida - I'm so glad you posted a pic. If you hadn't, I was going to go back to the Dallas thread and find one. And I think it is more than just your name why David remembers you. I loved the story you told about Tulsa. I'm sure David considers you one of his best fans, as you obviously made an impression on him. I love the picture that you chose to post here - David has such a sweet face, and the sincerity in his eyes is just indescribable.

All the pics above are awesome and I will use them, but hey, guys - don't be shy - please post pics of yourself with David if you were lucky enough to meet him. I'm sure he would like to see some pics with fans, not just pics of himself. Remember - this gift is to be from d-c.org.

pattie!!! HEY! OK....You definately need to keep the girl in the photo. DO NOT give David the one where I cropped her out!! I finally met the girl in the photo. She is not a member here...but she is a member at David's official site and she found me because someone had posted my picture and I commented that it was mine!!! PLEASE keep her in there.....BECAUSE it will mean a lot to that girl AND David has seen the photo!! Yes - here is an excerpt from the email from that woman:

"I did not meet you that wonderful day at the AAC, however, I am eternally greatful that you snapped "that" pic. You not only captured his beautiful eyes but the expression on his face.....which is truly priceless.

You asked where I got the pic....well, in case you didn't know...this picture is ALL OVER EVERY DC website. It has become legendary....Serioulsy! "That" picture has launced 1,000+ drools, thuds and caused many a woman to faint and / or 'plode!! HAHA I don't remember which site I snagged it off of though. I just remember the moment when looking at the picture that it was me he was looking at. I completely came undone and freaked out."


She ended up printing the photo, met DC in Kansas City and had him sign it!!!!!

Thank you, every time a post pictures I get this question. I have Canon 40D which I love, its a lower end professional camera. The lenses are more important than the camera body. I have shot the pictures in my post with the 24-70mm 2.8L, 100-400mmL and the 24-105mm 4.0L and I shoot in RAW, which probably doesnt mean anything to most people but its the highest quality lossless file to shoot in.

Actually Pattie Ann I did the tagging of the Columbus pics because in another fandom I'm a part of they always do that. It takes so long and for the sake of hurrying I didn't do it for the Lexington pics and probably won't anymore. I really don't care if people use my pictures. I'm sure there are bad people out there who may try to make buck off of them but I just don't have time to police it. Does that make sense??? But I'm glad it helped you out!

Yeah...got the MJ pic...don't know how...I was freaking out and I sat about 20 rows back that night so it was on "major" zoom! I was so happy when I got home and it looked half-way decent.
