I just read that the whole Wal Mart performance won't be available until Nov 15th. On Nov. 1st we will only be able to view previews

I actually did read that too, so now people are questioning if it would just be available in Wal-mart stores on the 1st, and not online until the 15th. I really do not like that because if that is the case, I do not have any Wal-marts near me! I was on such a high and they brought me down.

There are several Wal Marts here in South Jersey. Did you go online to Wal Mart's web page to search for locations. Perhaps there's one near you in North Jersey.

They're having the same discussion at DCO... conflicting info on the soundcheck site.

I think they would have changed it already if that was the case. That is not right because that is false advertising. I want my money back!! LOL

Doesn't it make more sense to have it closer to the CD release date, though? To me, it does.

Actually, now that I think about it, I am pretty sure there is one that my mom found a while ago, but it's not in such a good area or really close to me. Oh well. I guess I can just hang in there a little bit longer until it comes out on-line. I still have the preview at least that I can watch a million times over, and of course, seeing them on SNL this weekend makes it better!

I'm new to this. May I ask what is this Walmart Soundcheck thing that is either on Saturday or on 11/15? I did see the "preview" which is great. Please fill me in. Thanks so much!!!

MAN! I cannot wait to see this!! WOW!! Like some of you, I am so confused though...this Saturday or the 15th?

It's a mini concert that will be shown on the WalMart Soundcheck web page starting Nov 15th. It will also be shown on the TV's in the WalMart electronics department, but it hasn't been determined yet, as far as I know, when it will start playing there.

There will be a preview on 11/1 on the Walmart Site and I guess in the Walmart Stores

The performances will be on 11/15. It makes more sense having the performances of the songs that are on the album on 11/15 because that is more in line with the album availability of 11/18.

Just saw the pics. That is one hawt band! Can't wait to see the preview tomorrow and the full length vid on the 15th!!!

I'm confused. What did you buy? Are you saying the CD won't be available until the 15th when it was advertised as the 1st at Walmart? Are you talking about a soundcheck video? If it's the CD, I think it's always been the 18th and if Walmart gets it on the 15th then we should be applauding.

I'm pretty sure this performance already took place. They just aren't releasing it to the public until the 15th. I can't wait to get to memorize some more awesome songs before the CD comes out. Then I'll only have about half of it to memorize and will do that in a matter of hours! I guess I'll have to test out some of their lawn chairs and get a drink before I find the electronics department!

They recorded it in a studio in LA..

I do not think that the videos are available to buy...only the songs. I am hoping that someone can rip them and make downloads for us. Pretty please?

Jenny - words cannot express - when you see Bar-ba-sol live you will "plode"; especially if they continue with starting with a phenominal drum solo by Kyle then David and Joey join in on the drum set followed by them leading into the song. Total EPIC.

Wow...what a series of emotions u go thru watching that. "Lie" made my eyes tear up....and "Bar Ba Sol" was ummmm hot! I like the picks on the mic stand lol Shame there's noone there to throw them to.

These performances are beyond wonderful. Lie was perfection! Incredibly beautiful and heartfelt! Heroes and Declaration have such a great energy, and Bar-ba-sol is downright sexy! I was surprised that the production and direction were so very well done! And I loved the interview and the behind the scenes with the guys setting up. And it looks like WM plans to sell the performance .mp3's as an EP!

I posted this over in the Media section, but this seems to be where most of the discussion is so I'm just cross-posting...

Nice! Lie is such a pretty song during the acoustic parts...the rest of the song is awesome too. Bar-ba-sol must be awesome live...Declaration and Heroes as well. David's voice sounded a little bit strained during Light On, but we've seen him sing it live since then with no problems, so I'm assuming that his voice was just tired then. Still a heck of a lot better than most could do, though. I think Lie was my favorite from this particular set...I really like that part at the end of Lie where it's black and white film of David with the guitar...reminds me of TWIK.

Okay... got it to work for me in IE - still does nada in Firefox. All I have to say is that the solo tour can't get here soon enough! OMG! These guys simply rock!

Just watched the Wal-Mart Soundcheck.....AWESOME!!
I love how it showcased the entire band even getting a little bit of info on the other band members.
They all sounded great and it looked like they had fun making this video for Wal-Mart!

Just watched. David and the band smoldering hot, as always. I agree with someone who said David's voice sounded a little tired, hoarse, or strained (maybe all 3) on LO. Love Heroes with the band singing "You're Still Standing." (Kind of like all you guys who were so lucky to go to the gala sang). Lies---absolute perfection. Bar-ba-sol...rockin'...sexy...LOVED IT! Neal is one great guitar player! Declaration is a great song with perfect vocals by David. I like it better each time I hear it. I only wish they would have smiled a little more...but maybe you don't do that with Sound Checks.

The interview was great. David at his best. So comfortable in front of the camera. Nice to hear a little about the band and the songs. For only being together about a month when they did this, it was AMAZING.

The Wal-Mart soundcheck songs are now on You-Tube. Just saw them. Beautiful quality. David is gorgeous as always.

Hey Travis--- thanks for the downloads, but.. after I figured out how to open the stupid thing (learned a new term "RAR" ...) the picture looks like my very old TV with lines that race across the screen... HELP!?!?!
