I bought PS3 earlier this year JUST SO I could play Guitar Hero 3! Now I know what other game I'm gonna add to my collection! I LOVE GUITAR HERO!! GUITAR HERO + DAVID = ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!

Last time we were in a store my son and I played it (I had drums), and we played to Creep! He was wondering why I was freaking out just a little bit.

I totally agree with you on that one...his vocal superiority just adds that extra something to practically everything he covers that just pushes it past the original standard.

I'd been toying with the idea of asking for a Wii for Christmas, and I had decided that I wouldn't have enough time to play it for it to be cost effective, but, if this turns out to be true, I've just done a 180 on this decision... I used to be really into video games, but now that I'm more than halfway through high school I just don't have the time that I used to have...and practically all of my free time is spent on this site!

I actually got my guitar to Guitar Hero autographed by David Himself. Some of my friends and I
who are all over forty have been starting to go to concerts again, and we get together and play Guitar Hero. Our kids tease us about doing both. I loved the Guitar Hero commercial Davi did so when I went to the Long Island Concert I took my white Guitar from Guitar Hero with me
and David signed it for me. I was able to talk to him for a good amount of time that day.
I told my kids that David will be very BIG someday and this will be a great item to have and that all of my sons will most likely want it. Of course their answer was "Yeah Sure Mom".
However, they are starting to change their minds now.

We looked for Guitar Hero World Tour (wii) this weekend and had no luck, all the stores were sold out.
From what I understand, it doesn't come with any DC songs, but it had an option to download licensed songs for the game, so maybe that's what her son heard? That David will make his songs available for download?

I have Guitar Hero World Tour and David's songs are not on it. But, perhaps they will be become available via download after the album is released. I'll try to remember to check the game next week.

The guy at the Virgin store inquired for me when I was asking about the Wii and he also mentioned that it would be a downloadable ad on the the game. When I asked price, he said it might be about $10, probably to cover royalties. Not sure how it works, but that was his input

The downloadable songs are usually $2 per song and you will need to have a Playstation 3, Xbox 360 or Wii system to have the download feature. Sorry PS2 people, the PS2 system is not capable of download. I have a friend that is a designer with Sony, I sent him an email to see if he can confirm that David's new album will be available as a download, if I hear anything I'll let you all know. But I wouldn't be surprised, I know Metallica who just released a new album has their songs available for download on GHWT. Hope this helps answer some questions.
