Please forgive me if this is a dumb question, but does anyone know if the red carpet performances are usually aired on tv? Or are they just a sort of warm up that doesn't usually make it onto tv? I'd love to see the performance, but I have that whole span-of-country in the middle issue too!
Now it's the West Coast's time for a little DC action!

Latest info is that the preshow will be televised and David is singing 2 songs! Woohoo!!

Josie and Jeannine - I got my email back with a confirmation as well. I will drive over from AZ and will stay with my sis in Ontario. It says to be there no later than 12 noon, but what time are you planning to be there? Maybe we should try to meet up.
