Hmm...I've always had this disabled on all my sites...but what do you think if I were to allow registrations on the D-C.org gallery where then you can organize an album with your pictures...just like photobucket, but on d-c.org

Basically...you'd register, create a user album and upload your images to it...

I think it would be a great idea, as all of the pictures in my photobucket anyway are DC related Plus, it would be easier to search for pictures. Ever since the server changed on this site, a lot of the pictures have broken links and it would be spifftastic if there were a place to find pictures easily. Thanks Travis!

Awesome idea Travis- I agree I think it would be easier to find pics...specially since I lost all mine and have to replace lol

Okay, I was testing it out since I've never allowed people to upload their own pictures into the gallery...the only downside is the thumbnailed pictures. I use my own program to create the small icons and allowing people to upload their own would create a default thumbnail through the image gallery that would range in different sizes making it look really bad lol. I'll still find a way though

This is a great idea - so this would be in addition to a specific thread (i.e. the Album Release Party) or instead of posting in an event thread?

Huh haha...this would be a feature where you could upload your images directly to d-c.org and then share them with a d-c.org gallery...but so far it's not working the way I want it to.
