You died when he sang "til the end of time" LOL -- YES, I REPLAYED THAT SUCKER OVER AND OVER AGAIN. OMG that was pure SEX. I also couldn't believe how sharp that man looked in the Tux. I could not delete that eposide just for Cook and ZZ Top, "til the end of time" and the tux. I did capture the win (so for sure not deleting) and TiVo shut off right before he sang the song but I got the best part.

I was walking 2 feet off the ground for at least a week after that win. Never in my life have I ever been so involved in a "reality show." I just starting watching last year and this year I only decided to watch due to the fact there was nothing but re-runs on TV due to the writers' strike. Thank you writers' strike.

Yes, there was a "scream" heard around the world when David Cook won. I went hysterical, saying "yes, yes, yes." It was a sight to behold....

George Michael just went on and on and on and on. It was because of him they went over the time. That had to be a 10 minute song and felt like 30 minutes. And TPTB said "a real big star" will appear. Please....

As far as this years goes--not feeling it at all. DC has ruined me for sure and it's the same old stuff as in the past.

You know that was my same reaction. Cook I believe he was crying--standing close to her wanting to touch her. His eyes were wet. There was Jason all grins and smiles totally oblivious to the pain around him. I just think he is clueless and oblivious. He didn't care if he got eliminated and probably didn't see what the fuss was all about. I noticed that a lot of people where clueless of the pain going around on eliminations but David Cook. He felt their pain.

He was the one solid rock/foundation in that group. He was the leader and emerged as the leader halfway through and he was the leader at the end. He did all the announcements at the finale for the most part--he was THE MAN.

David Cook knew that there can only be one winner in the end and that eventually everyone would have to go except till someone wins but he understood that these people love what they do and work so hard at it (except for Jason LOL) and some of them would take it bad and personal. Brooke was in the bottom 3 a number of times and that girl was having a heart attack towards the end during her performances. She was a nervous wreck. I almost wanted her to leave just to relieve her stress. Afterall the golden boy was pimped all season long and everyone knew he was going to make it to top 2 and then David Cook so everyone knew they wouldn't make it to the finale but it still hurts.
