I was starting to see a little love (okay, well at least some mutual respect) between archies and cookies in the waning hours of the Musiqtone video of the year poll. DA fans talkin' nice about DC and vice versa. I hope this is the beginning of a truce between fanbases.

Good.. I might even go see him if he comes to Utah. Love him, not so much his music, but I have a friend who LOVES him, so I would go with her. Would almost be worth it just to hear him sing Angels.

Wheres the love for Michigan? Theres no way I could travel 7 hours to chicago just for a concert (yes, its about that far from where i live aka the middle of nowhere).

LOL I just can't picture a sweet guy like Archie playing the clubs in the central PA area like the Croc and and Chameleon Club. Considering how many tickets are sold out, I might think about attending. Although the shrieking girls might make me go deaf...

I just heard that 14 of his 20 tour dates are sold out. Good for him! I will post a few pictures in here from the show on Tuesday. I should have them up on Wednesday afternoon.

I did go see the show last night. I really enjoyed it, he was much more loose and comfortable than he appeared on the show or even the tour. Some of the highlights for me were when he sang Jason Mraz's I'm Yours and played A Thousand Miles on the piano during the encore. When I get my pics resized I will post a few.

They are both HUGE here... im a die hard fan of DC but archie is cool,i luv him too!DC's songs stayed longer in the airwaves here than archies songs..WE ARE DYING TO SEE YOU DC...FROM THE DAVID-COOK-COUNTRY PHILIPPINES.

David A played a sold out show at the National Theater here in Richmond. I did not go - although I think he's a great kid, I just don't prefer his style of music. But, I thought any of you Cook-uleta fans might appreciate this. Melissa Ruggieri, our local music critic, is pretty good - she doesn't bash him, but she's not gushing over him either. Hope he does end up with a "bona fide career" - he's certainly better than much of what Disney is pushing these days.

Sometimes, it's not so bad to come in second.

And it certainly doesn't hurt if you're a tiny teen idol with puppy dog eyes and hair begging to be ruffled.

The angelic David Archuleta might have lost last season's "American Idol" to sultry rocker David Cook. But don't forget Archuleta still nabbed about 44 percent of 97 million votes, so obviously, the kid has a rabid following.

About 1,500 of the devout jammed The National tonight during Archuleta's sold-out show -- the second date of his first headlining tour. Though the 18-year-old crooner bopped on stage about 30 minutes later than planned after dealing with inflamed vocal cords backstage, the restless crowd was instantly forgiving at the first glimpse of his sneakered feet and the opening notes of "Touch My Hand."

Considering that Archuleta's voice was obliterated by an incessant wave of high-pitched (mostly female) caterwauling, he probably could have sung like Tom Waits and no one would have noticed the change in tone.

But, throughout his 75-minute set, the relentlessly chipper Archuleta sounded pretty much like he did every week on "Idol" -- smooth, pleasant, off-key on an occasional note and as sterile as a doctor's office.

Wholesome pop songs such as "Barriers," his first hit, "Crush" and his new single, "A Little Too Not Over You," were indistinguishable, but that's exactly why his legions of fans adore him: His harmlessness is his greatest magnet.

Archuleta was never one for loquaciousness on "Idol," usually batting away Ryan Seacrest's questions with some cute blinking and a grin stretched across cheeks ripe for pinching.

That hasn't changed, as his stage patter consisted of wide-eyed exclamations of "There's a lot of people here tonight -- it's crazy!" and "Oh my gosh, you guys, it's awesome here [in Virginia]!" -- but it's tough not to appreciate Archuleta's seemingly unblemished youthfulness.

Though much of the night he seemed tentative about his newfound freedom as a headliner free of the "Idol" regime, Archuleta did lean into "Works For Me" with a soulful tinge that would have even made Simon Cowell half-smile.

And when he broke into a four-song medley of some of his favorite songs (Desiree's "You Gotta Be," which was a hit when Archuleta was 4, and Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours," among them) it became abundantly clear that Archuleta has successfully turned what could have been a stint as a cruise-ship performer into a bonafide career.

I got to go to the crockodile on Sun. it was awesome! & i went on thurs to Sayerville. I had posted this in the off topic but ill post it too: Is from thus & sunday & some pic links....

I got to go @ the very last minute. We have tixx for Sunday show in PA, so i thought I wasn't gonna get to this one @ all. The night b4 i saw a listing on ebay for 5 sarville tixx & i joined; i won the auction thurs @ 3pm! We got in the car went to pick up every1, they changed & off we went. We got there just as the doors opened... phew!...
Archie was AMAZING!!!!!!! The entire concert was Awesome!! I'll share the complete expierience soon. I haven't finished writting about it I'll post it on here.

But to the point... At the end we waited until every1 kinda emptied the place to leave. Then my cousin said they had barricades outside his tour bus & some ppl were waiting, so we went. & the security let us be in front without any barricades, so it wouldn't block my w/c. We waited about 2hrs. & everybody was nice & calm, but some girls started screaming when they saw him & the sec put up barricades every1 ran in front of me & blocked me! My cousins got mad and started telling ppl stuff & the sec saw wat happened & said: "SHH I got ya!" (I was like... yikes! ) & he called over Archies Dad Jeff & i said I had something for Archie (thinking he'd give it to him) & he said to come around hes coming here...And WAITED WITH ME!!
We talked & he loved the gift for archie I had, he mustve though the giftt was soo cute cuz he couldnt stop smiling @ me lol! he asked where we came from & was shocked when i told him the tixx story frm ebay hahahe said "i thought they had sold out." He took a pic with me & left, then it got really crowded & Archie couldnt make to to were I was they were covering his mouth & throat; it was reallllyyyy cold!!
Low & behold the sec. came to get me & said "I need you to come with me" (I felt sooo weird it looked like I was getting thrown out!!) He escorted me to the front door of the venue, where Archie was coming back to & he wispered "he comes thru here to come inside, he'll come to you"
And here came the sec. & mr. Archuleta & when Archie turned around they're all smiling @ me!!! And Archie smiled and waves hi (he wasnt speaking just gesturing) He is the cutest humam bieng!! You shoulda seen the adorable faces he made at me, while I was showing him the gift. (After thought, I shoulda gotten video of our conversation, but I had the camera on photo I thoght I was only gonna have a few seconds??) But I asked for picture & he was gonna hold my hand for the pic (he soo adorable!!) but he kept loking at the front & the back of the chair, back & forth & he just stood by my side & posed with me. (those 30 secs or so were the most ackward LOL!) He gave me a hug & walked over to sign my cd.
I laughed b/c he got possesive with the cd he saw I had his band members sign it & he opened the inside & signed really big that entire side it was so cute he was trying to read how the others wrote my name & he dedicate it to me. (after in the van we were like gosh in case we didnt know who the headliner was huh??? )

He gestured thank you & bye & left! And then Mr. Archuleta & the Sec. said "have a blessed night" All in all it was like 4 mins; but it went fast!!! I just wannu say how amazing that was that they took that kinda of time, & let me have the opportunity. And truly all his crew seemed so helpful & kind spirited & his dad is soo sweet & humble!! I cant wait til Sunday!!"

Finally back in Jersey, this Arch adventure was beyoond amazing for all of us! But "the hair in the soup" was I caught the flu!... We wond up having to stay in PA b/c of the storm & I got sooo snowed on waiting on a place to spend the night. I don't have the energy or verbal ability to type & load (lol!) but I wanted you guys to see wat i was able to capture on my phone for now.

Ok Sunday got here & after working all weekend on shirts & sign the printer didnt work & staples wouldn't print!!!!! Instead of getting discouraged, we just wore our pins (from the AI tour) & loaded my van, ipods charged & snacks LOL! around 1:30pm. I live an hour and 40minutes from the crock cafe, but I had VIP tixx (i got a major hook up from the crock... i dunno but i lucked out??) So im wanted to get there super early so they wouldn't not back outon me haha!
We gor there @ 3:30pm and the line was INSANE!!! I was like OH GEEZZ!! I called the lady (hook up lol!) & she said to come @ 5:00 & wait by the door (handicapp entrance).
So we abided, went to eat & i went to buy Arch some nutter butters (yall knw he loves those cookies right? ) ) and a thank you card for he & his dad for being so outstanding on thurs. i got my gift bag all nice & stuffed w/ nutters & a pretty card, after we ate off we went!!! (here my nerves started) I was praying nothing would go wrong!! Archie was having the soundcheck we could here "barries" playing out the venue! We waited by the door some the band members came out & took pix.
I was getting restless waiting and about a half hour l8r some guy came & let us in! *phew* We were like the first ppl there after the barricades! MAD CLOSE!! the only other family was an Archie fan that got here "make a wish" granted & goe backstage passes! they just kept saying wat a sweet kid Archies was!! (WE KNOW!!! LOL!)
so the show starts Lesley Roy (the opening act) signed & threw her guitar pic to my cusin Cute! We saw the band members staring to come out to gret ppl & I saw like Yikes! WoW!

So Jeff came out to greet the fans & I took the opportunity to give him the gift bag & say thanks! He took it & saiid he'd give to to Archie! (Such Sweet man!) I asked Mike if Archie had the teddy bear I gave him thus. in the bun & he said yup i think so!!!!! (So happy!!)
Out they came Ans strated to sing (So Amazing!)
Look @ how close Mr. Archuleta was he was sitting against the barricades right in front of my feet!!!!! I made him laugh once during the medley I was singing so loud he looked back & bopped his head laughing I was soo embarrased I usually vacate rooms when I sing! LOL!!! continued....

I have all the pix of Archie Singing both nights in the big cam!! And the pix of us And the band & his Dad! imma make an album on my my space tp make posing easier. let me just get to the after the concert part. All his crew is unbelievable. Arch couldnt reach us while he was singing so he greet it us after the encore while he was going out! He soo sweet to take the extra time! OMG he was so swety like a lil wet ducky!! (poor bebe) he remembered weho i was from thurs.!!!!
And After we stayed & Eli gave my other cousin his signed drumstick! she flipped! haha! she was like "damnn daddyyy" he is quite a cutie! Mike the guitarist gave the 3rd cuz his pic and he signed it!!! I think my girls have crushes! LOL!!
I took a pic with the whole band & they signed my cd (pix below) And Archie personalized it & Jeff took another pic w/ me & signed me lamite (the tour souvenir) And saiid thx so much for making a trip from jerey again!! (Soo kind) Mr. Archuleta touched my heart so much thoughout the entire concert he watches over his son sooo much & seemed sooo proud of the crowds reaction to Archies work!! it truly had me in tears! And at the end when we were taking pix Alex the bass player said who gave David the bag of nutter butters? (I was behind him with a mischievous look of MEEE!!) He said thank you he shared w/ us we ate them already. I was like YES!!

At the end we had to leave b4 Archie came out but it was the nicest night. I even got a water from the stage hahaha!

We wound uo being standed b/c of the snow but even that was fun a total Archie adventure!! I only pray that my Dave Cook concerts at the end of march in Jersey work out half as awesome!!!
