I agree 100%. It was painful to watch most of the performances. I think Danny is the only one with the "whole package" He has the talent and the humility that the others all lack. I especially dislike Jackie and Tatiana. Even if they make it to the top 24, I cannot imagine the fans voting for those two M y husband even commented "Bring back season 7!!""

but last night Danny was the only won that showed talent on stage. everyone else made it looke like AI was a joke. its pathetic. and it was so mad when Randy said that this was the best season ever. who is he kidding? everyone knows that 7 was the best there ever is/was randy.

so with that said i think that Danny last night proved that he is capable of winning the entire thing.

I voted for Danny too, like him alot. But I hope he takes a cue from David and doesn't want to get any sympathy votes.

i dont think he wants the sympathy vote but i guess it must be hard to not keep quiet about his wife when she died less than a year ago. its still very vivid for him. he just needs time and i think it stupid how vote for the worst makes fun of him for that. its unacceptable. plus its not his fault that AI keeps on blasting his story.

They didn't show next week's group last night. They probably will tonight at the end. Anoop was good and I think better than the judges gave him credit for too. I like him. I also like Michael Carver, but I didn't like the song he chose. I'm not sure if I like Adam yet. He's a bit dramatic & theatrical, which could either be a really great thing or a really bad one. He does have talent at least for theatre. We'll see how he does in his group. I can't wait! I didn't vote last night cause I couldn't choose my top 3. I would've definitely voted for Danny if I had though.

Eee, I'm so glad he made it through. Talk about drama putting him vs Tatiana at the end. If she woulda made it and not him I would've seriously killed the tv. I'd missed Alexis' performance last night so I'm not sure how excited I am bout her making it. Just very excited that Danny's in. There really wasn't any doubt though that he would be.

That is so funny! I have a feeling Tatiana will be one of the wild cards.

I've always said that AI can't beat Season 7 - with all the wonderful talent and all the incredible chemistry.

There won't be another Michael Johns - he's just soooooooooo awesome. He was the front runner for a long time.

And of course, there's our dear Cookie - whom we love and adore (even though he looked rediculously dressed for the A.I. reunion - the man really does need help with his wardrobe).

Carly Simons and Michael Johns were so hot last night on A.I. They are an awsesome team, and I thought they looked like stars - dressed to the hilt in black. They both looked FABULOUS. Didn't you think so too?

Yes, Danny Cokey is the one to beat at this time. He's got a story behind him - and thankfully, is not a drama-mama like those coming up. Let's all be happy that Tatiana did not go through. She did not even clap for Danny who did go through.

I thought he looked great! I miss the loose tie/vest look (HRC anyone?) and although the white jacket wasn't exactly the same, it was a throwback to that look. He was HOT, HOT, HOT at Biloxi, but I didn't care much for the plaid shirt and wool hat. I was glad the couple times during the show when he took the damn (sorry) hat off.

I'm a fan of Danny from the very beginning, love his soulful voice.

I'm supporting him, he's the one I'm looking for this season. And I'm so happy that he's already in the Top 12. Long way to go, Danny.

But of course, there will be no other David Cook whom I go gaga everytime I see & hear his voice. As I'm always saying, David is my FOREVER AMERICAN IDOL. Noone can replace him in my heart.

Danny is my second favorite! I really hope that the top 3 is Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey, and Scott M. But that probably won't happen because I'm sure they'd want a girl in there. But hopefully Paula is right and it'll come down to Adam and Danny!

Hi everyone!
I haven't posted here since about October, because I've been so active at DCO and now at my own fansite, DannyGokeyUnofficial (the url is in my siggy), and other forums.
I'm a huge Danny Gokey fan, and have been since his audition. I didn't expect to like anyone this season because David spoiled me so (and I'm as obsessed as ever), but Danny changed my mind. In so many ways, he reminds me of David. Not so much in his musical style, but in his heart and soul. The guy wears his heart on his sleeve and his voice is so full of emotion. They've both been through tragedy and seem to be able to use that in their vocals.

That said, I want to share this fan tribute video made by one of the mods at dannygokeyfans.com. This made me cry, and I love, love, love the fact she used DC's "Life On The Moon" as one of the two songs (the other is Danny's goosebump-worthy studio version of WHTM).

I love Danny! Over on the Danny boards there are a bunch of Danny/Kris lovers and we call ourselves Team Kranny. It was that or Dris, so... Kranny won. Danny is definitely gonna win! Love him, and even though I KNOW Adam's gonna be second (I don't like him, sorry), I wish that Kris would be second. Allison third, too, and Matty G. fourth!

I would like to see Danny win too. I like the runner up to be Kris as well and Allison third. Sounds good.

Thank you Heliotrope for that awesome video! I watched and cried. I live in Green Bay (two hours north of Milwaukee-Danny's hometown)and there is so much excitement in this state already. Danny has no idea what it is going to be like when he comes back home....things are crazy already around here.

What is ironic is that the weekend Danny would have a hometown celebration (if we can get him to the top three)I will be in Ohio seeing David for the 2nd time this tour. I'll see Danny at one of the Idol shows here. David captured my heart and soul last year and will always be my #1 but I have to support our hometown guy, too.
