I'm usually not a big AI watcher (last season my my first time and I'm glad I tuned in ) but I am already a big fan of Danny. I think he has a great voice and could be a front runner to win this season.

im not liking this season so far. so much unessessary drama from tonights episode but yeah i love Danny and his best friend Jamar. they are both very talented.

I fell in love with Danny during auditions. He was great on Hollywood week as well. I really want him to win!

I had never watched any of AI til last year and only watched then to cheer on the hometown kid. Swore I wasn't gonna care about this year. And now, I find I'm kinda paying attention to another pair of local talents, Danny and Jamar.

I think Danny is going to be my root-for guy this year. Of course he's not going to be at a David-level of love and obsession, but I'll send my votes his way. I think Danny and Adam are the ones to watch for this year, although Adam seems a little too over the top to me, but I'm willing to see what he does once the actual competition gets underway.

Danny struck me from Day #1 (not as intense as DC, but enough to keep wanting to see him more). I think he's got a pure soulful soothing voice. So far, he's my pick for this year.

I gusse this is place to post this lol The song Danny sang tonight(I Hope You Dance)is one of my favorite songs and until tonight I never cried to that song I loved Danny vocie seen the day I heared it but now I know he is more then amazing he has to win!He's doing so good and it's only hollywood just think what will happen if he makes top 36!But I'm sorry David will still always be my number one!!

Ya know, hubby said that's why I liked Danny, 'cause he looks like David... I don't really think he does. And his sound is totally different. David's my one and only Idol, but that doesn't mean I can't like other artists and not just because they have artfully mussed hair - LOL!

Danny has been my fav since Day 1. But no one this season compares to David but thats okay. There will never be another David on the show...

But I'm really not feeling the Adam vibe either. I'm a fan of the more grungy voice vs. Adam's voice.

Danny shined tonight. As far as I am concerned he was the only one that should go through.

I like Danny. He did amazing tonight. Better than the rest. He kind've looks like David's brother to me. Anyway, he's my fav for this season so far. Tatiana should change her stage name to Drama. If she makes it on the show that's the only reason why. That and the last high note she hit at the end of her performance might get her through. I kinda like Ann Marie as far as the girls go. I'll never love anyone's performance of Natural Woman as much as Kelly's, but she sang better than the judges gave her credit for I think. She even said in the beginning she was giving it her own twist. At least she picked a good song. Not exactly right for her voice, but a good song. Back to Danny Gokey, I love how genuine he seems and his singing style. He could never be our DC, but he's good. Right now I'm a fan.

Just voted for Danny. He's my second fave this year after Adam.

Well it was like old times tonight! I had Dial Idol running on my laptop, I was dialing in calls on my cellphone in my left hand while texting in votes on my Go Phone in my right! I started the night voting equally for Danny and Anoop, but after I saw Danny running away with the vote on Dial Idol, I began throwing more votes Anoop's way. I'm still behind Danny FTW, but I like Anoop enough to want him in the Top 12 and ultimately the Top 10.

But Danny stood out by a mile tonight and I loved that they gave him the pimp spot. I already see a Danny/Adam finale in the works!

I missed the very end of the show because I was setting up Dial Idol and my DVR ran out during the recap -- did they say who was singing next week?

Yep, Danny was hot tonight! He was way better than the others. I did my thing with the phone lines for him. And yeah, he does kinda remind me on Andrew!

I agree with Willow - I see Danny & Adam in the finale, too - at least at this stage of the game.

oh my what happened last night with AI and song choices??? except for Danny and Anoop and Alexis...everyone was..... bleh. I was even cringing thru some of the perfs... and because of an intense desire to relieve season 7 and David's perfs....that's why I'm still up and straining my eyes watching the small YT screen for all of David's songs.... GAH!!! nothing compares, man...NOTHING!

Danny was the only one that should go through out of that group!!


The rest was karoake at best!

Danny's got my votes. Song choice, voice...... he's one of the only ones so far that seems real. So many of them are just trying too hard and not gettin' it done.
