I have a Finnish friend on another board who is upset that the album did not become available on the 11th as announced. Any word on when it will actually be available in Finland?

I have contacted Sony BMG Finland just recently and they confirmed the release date. I went to two stores in my town but DCTR was not there. There were empty spots on the shelves though, so there's hope they had sold it out already.. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to ask but I'll go back.. and make them order more of them if that was the case.

I know Finnish people on another site who bought the cd on Wednesday (at least it was available at Sokos - that's a chain of stores) so it should be available everywhere. Your friend should go and ask her/his store.

It will be very interesting to see how quickly our Cookie rules the charts here!

Which they shouldn't have - they should've just left it as it is.

People have really been wondering why they can't find the album in stores anywhere here although it was supposed to be on sale Feb 11th. I heard a couple of days ago that a big delivery of DCTR has been stuck somewhere between Sweden and Finland.. so there HAS been a delay.

How could that happen? And why did it happen with THIS album?? It's Murphy's law LOL.

So the albums are on their way.. and yesterday I heard that at least Stockmann in Helsinki had promised to have the album on sale this Wednesday, the 18th.

I have seen only a couple of copies in stores so far. I'll have to go for a round in stores nearby this week to check..

But DC is on the radio every day, they have played Light On and Bar-Ba-Sol (!) and I saw a TV interview last week (on Voice) and this Thursday (19th) there will be a radio interview on YleX channel, at 7:10 PM. Oh.. and Light On debuted on our download charts last week on 19th!!!

It IS beginning!

Sorry he is "stuck" somewhere between Sweden & Finland Hope he gets there soon! Keep us informed how he is doing there - need to know when to start pestering my cousins...

By the way - I went to the Biloxi concert on Valentine's Day - I know you have seen the posts & links - just wanted to personally say that the concert was EPIC! I was exhausted from all the music, energy & emotion. Seeing him live is sooo intense! PLUS - I have a signed Valentine from him...just to me! - well, me & 1499 other people!
I will be going to another concert asap!
