Just FYI....because I can't sleep and was trying to occupy my time. I did a search for Brooke's previously released album on Amazon, and its gone too. Back when I bought Analog Heart (however long ago), she had a cd on there, as did Carly and Michael Johns (his old band). But now the only one on there is Carly, and I'm sure the only reason why it wasn't taken off is because she got the boot.


My only rationale for them taking them down, since neither David or Brooke are currently under contract with a record company (Brooke's cd was released under a record company, but she doesn't currently have a contract...I'm not trying to start rumors here) and they are both in the Top 5, that there are some pre-negotiations for post-idol contracts. Let's face it, if you make the Top 5 you obviously have some talent and a fan base and music execs realize this. I'm banking on their cd's getting yanked because these pre-negotiations want to use some of their songs on a post-idol album. And especially in David's case, because its apparent that he has a very large fan base and a sh*t load of talent, otherwise he would've never been #1 on Amazon if he didn't. Music execs aren't stupid, and they want to cash in on it if they can. It's the same as Chris Daughtry, he had negotiations and offers on the table before he got the boot from Idol.


All I know is, I can't wait for David's post-idol stuff!!!!!

I wonder why MJ's album was pulled, but Carly's wasn't...?

Probably because Carly has previously worked with Randy Jackson and has skipped around that since day one...I don't know if that's why, just one girl's personal opinion...LOL
