I got to thinking about this today driving home from work. There have been some remarkable talents who went before they should have over the years, and some of them were married. So I got to pondering whether any of the Final Chosen Ones were married, and I am not positive about them all, but pretty sure that most have been single. Since there is without a doubt a lot of fangirly/guyly (?) voting that goes on, it could be possible for the wedding ring to be a factor.

I know I can't fantasize about a married guy. My own married status is irrelevant in my fantasies, of course, but I wouldn't enjoy a fantasy where I know I am after someone else's man. That's why I think the "Are you single?" question was just another booster for our beloved Rocket Man.

What are your thoughts?

Sad to say...I think it does have a factor in it. I was actually discussing this with my mom earlier today.
