Olivia Newton-John, 24E, Deborah Gibson, Joe McIntyre, New Kids On The Block, Billy Joel, Crosby Loggins, Tony Lucca, Matt Powers, Brian Colburn, Daughtry, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, The Beatles, The Cringe, Matchbox Twenty, Pat Monahan, Garth Brooks, Backstreet Boys, Marc Broussard, Emanuel Kiriakou, Lenny Kravitz, Idina Menzel, Linda Eder, Janet Jackson (mainly from the 80's), Mandy Moore, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Boston, The Steve Miller Band, Bad Company, Toto, Lynard Skynard, Heart (specifically the early years), Janis Joplin, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Harry Connick Jr. and Elliott Yamin; just to name a "few". I also love Broadway musicals/showtunes, including "Rent", "tick, tick... BOOM!" and "Wicked" (Jonathan Larson and Stephen Schwartz are geniuses). I'm a music JUNKIE.

Favourite band evar: Nightwish
I just went to a concert of their's like a couple weeks ago. It was sooooooo good.
Other bands/artists I like: HammerFall, Disturbed, Shinedown, Sonata Arctica, Girlicious, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Within Temptation, BoA, ..I'll listen to any kinds of music, but those are my favs. I threw Girlicious in there cause I just watched their show..and I did like the girls. I love watching reality shows or just talent shows, dancing/singing, etc. I still like pop music sometimes, so I want to hear their new cd. But they are the only ones I would tolerate right now, lol. Otherwise, rock/metal ftw.

And your welcome! I really enjoy sharing the music I like. It's cool to read through what other people have said and see how many like the same bands.

By the way...does anyone know of an official Archie myspace yet? I looked the other day and didn't see one. The only ones I know about other than DC's are Syesha's and Carly's.

And I know, isn't it weird that he doesn't have one? I was kind of sad today when I saw something on TV. DC and Archie were walking somewhere...I'm not sure where...and reporters were swarming all over DC, and they were all leaving Archie in the dust. Some were talking to him, but not even half as many. I know that he's not going to get as much attention, but I still felt really bad for him.

But, there are a few exceptions.

Okay, my favorite bands would have to be.....
in really no particular order
Daughtry (sorry Cookie, I still firmly believe Chris is the hottest man on this planet)
Three Days Grace (their music just rocks)
HIM (Ville Valo is hot in that quirky kind of way, and their songs have just enough dark to make me tingle, hehe)
Within Temptation (Sharon den Adel has a voice that can make the hair on the back of your neck stand up)
Nightwish - When Tarja was lead singer
3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Linkin Park(not the new CD), Evanesence, Josh Groban, ...... I could go on and on...
But, that is the gist of it.

Last FMI reset my counter because my top artist was Fall Out Boy because in college there was a boy I liked...feeling not mutual...and well enough said.
I listen to some pretty angry music at times..I'm really not that angry of a person at all but I guess it's how I vent when I am.
"Laid To Rest" by Lamb Of God is my #1 venting song probably.

I love the fact that David's fans have such eclectic tastes and are obviously open to all types of music.
My main music loves are:-
Josh Groban - that voice is unreal and I was luckily enough in 2005 to be in the US when he was touring and to hear him sing You Raise Me Up live was one of my favourite ever concert experiences. He also doesn't take himself too seriously which I love in any artist (the star of the Jimmy Kimmel video).
Shannon Noll - Runner up of the first series of Australian Idol and easily the most successful. He is about to take on the US with his song Loud. Favourite songs Now I Run (tribute to his dad who passed before Idol), Shine, Lift and Learn to Fly.
I am also partial to Bryan Adams (one of the best concerts I've ever been to), Jack Johnson, Michael Buble, Keith Urban, Simple Plan & Gavin Degraw.

I have an amazingly eclectic taste in music, being a musician and a music teacher means I have to know quite a bit!
But I guess at heart I am a grunger, loving such bands as;
Pearl Jam
Nirvana
Alterbridge
Unbelievable Truth
But I also love Girly rock;
Queen Adreena
Kittie
Guano Apes
Paramore
The Long Blondes
Save Ferris
Letters to Cleo
But as a folk artist I listen to a lot of that too!
e.g;
Bob Dylan, Eva Cassidy, Martha Tilston, Damien Rice, Susan Enan, Priscilla Ahn, & Cara Dillon to name a few...
So basically anything valid from the 1950's to today that has touch me in whatever way or I have felt a connection with!
