I am RIGHT THERE WITH YOU. Josh Groban was and forever will be my first grown-up fan girl crush. LOVE HIM. My tattoo was inspired by him actually.
Anyway -- If I heard David cover "awake" I really might just die - that would be AMAZING. I practically die when I hear Josh sing it -- especially live. generally brings me to tears.
OMG! The version on the AWAKE DVD...it just...bowls me over.

I think that's my favorite live Josh DVD out of ALL of them.
Enamored by DC!!!!

Now this is a loaded question! I love ALL types of music, but here are SOME of my favorites:
Now of course this list includes David and Axium...
Madonna, Josh Groban, Michael Buble', Opeth, Porcupine Tree/Blackfield, Pink Floyd, Queensryche, (OLD)Def Leppard(up to Hysteria),Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Janet Jackson, Brian McKnight, Justin Timberlake, The Cranberries, Veruca Salt/Nina Gordon, Nevermore, Iced Earth, Heart, Pat Benatar, Queen, Alanis Morissette, Tenacious D(LOVE),Richard Cheese(hilarious), Stephen Lynch(comedian w/a great singing voice), 30 Seconds to Mars, H.I.M., Sade, Enya, Bobby Darrin(and all the older greats), Crosby Stills and Nash, Beatles, Elvis, Johnny Cash, The Ramones, Foo Fighters, Bloodhound Gang, India.Arie, Aaliyah, The Temptations, The Four Tops, REM, AC/DC, Dio, etc., and the list surely goes on. I'm not a HUGE country music fan, but I tend to lean toward the "old school" kinda country. Dolly Parton rocks.
