I'm madly in love with "Awake" and I would jump to hear David cover it. I don't recall him playing the piano, but someone from the Idol band could take care of that!

Hubby and I pretty much lived and breathed Toad for most of the 90's. I went to college in Santa Barbara, so of course they are GOD there. And why not? They have never denied their love for their hometown.

The band's 1998 split was distressing, but it's been made better by the tours of the last few years. We'll be going to our next one in August - yay!

I have a LOT of favorite bands and artists because I'm a music freak, but I'll try to narrow it down LOL Remember, I like ALL types of music, so my favorites are pretty diverse LOL

Bands:
1. Maroon 5-They have been my favorite band since they made their debut with "Harder To Breathe." I just love them so much...and Adam Levine is a sexy beast
2. Daughtry-The moment I saw Chris Daughtry audition for Idol, I was amazed and I've been a HUGE fan of his ever since. I'm proud to say I was a Daughtry fan before all of the post-Idol attention started
3. Bon Jovi-Do I really need an explanation for why they're one of my favorites? LOL
4. The Killers-I think they're very eccentric and different than other bands and that's what I love about them.
5. The Beatles-Yes, I'm a a Beatles fan and I'm only 20. They've been one of my favorite bands since I was like 12.
5. Coldplay-Perhaps one of the best bands, ever LOL I think they're genius, and their song "The Scientist" is in my opinion, one of the most beautiful songs ever written.
6. Rascal Flatts-Yes, I'm somewhat of a country music fan. Like I said, I'm pretty diverse. I love, love, love Rascal Flatts. Not one of their albums have been bad, not one song I haven't liked.
7. Nickel Creek-Amazing bluegrass band. I grew up on bluegrass music (my mom's from Kentucky and bluegrass music is in my blood because my grandpa and my whole family, is really into singing and playing instruments).
8. Matchbox 20-Geniuses

Artists:
1. Who else can be number one besides David?? Alright, I'll TRY to pick someone to be number 1. I guess it would have to be Josh Groban. He has a beautiful voice and he always gives me goosebumps.
2. John Mayer-I've been a fan of his since the beginning. He's never let me down. I love all of his music.
3. Justin Timberlake-Yes, I will admit, this whole love for Justin Timberlake started when I was about 11, when *NSync was popular. I fell in love instantly. But now, he has truly grown as an artist and I've matured, too, and I appreciate his music much more than I did back then LOL
4. Alison Krauss-She has the voice of an angel.
5. Kenny Chesney-Again, I'm a country music fan. He's been a favorite of mine for a long, long time now.
6. Vince Gill-Another beautiful bluegrass voice. His voice just makes me melt. I could listen to him all day LOL
7. Brad Paisley-I've seen him in concert twice and he's AMAZING. He has incredible guitar skills. I just love him LOL
8. And finally, Michael Buble'. I really like his style of music, and his voice. Again, he's never disappointed me :-p
