but i just heard it on the radio

they were saying that alot of Christians were upset about carly's song choice [jesus christ superstar]
and that they were upset because they find that song to be disrespectful or something towards jesus...
so none of them voted for her this week resulting in her leaving..

did anyone else hear about this

I haven't heard that on the radio. But I am a Christian, but I don't find it disrespectful at all. I don't think it was a loss of vote counts. It's based on popularity.

i doubt that she lost votes because of her song choice. she simply just didnt get enough votes.

i def. think the song had something to do with her getting off. but she soooo did not desierve to go! she was the best out of the girls ! but its good cause now david has a betta chance of winning!!!

Carly was my favorite female contestants and I thought she did really good last week. I definitely think that she should still be on AI. I also thought she would have made it to the final 3.

I liked it alot, actually. But the US has different religions and that was aimed just to one. So I dunno if the others were opinionated about it. But hey, it's just me

Her getting voted off made me mad. She was my favorite girl on the thing.
