Oh man! I WISH I had money in my bank account! I would be ordering these tickets right now! >_< I have to wait until thursday I think. Because that's when I get paid. I can so do this concert. It's 3 weeks-ish before my sister in law is due. That's good enough, right? (I'm dying to see David LIVE!)

OK I'm officially bummed - I'm leaving for family vacation Fri 7/10 and miss Lansing and Chesaning concerts! Think my family will care if I reschedule vacation for a time when Mr. Cook is not in MICHIGAN!

Aww man! I'd try my hardest to get us to leave a day or 2 later, Hooked!

BTW, I got my tickets in the mail a while ago. I am SO excited for this! Who else has their tickets and where are you sitting?

Ya - I just couldn't pass up the opportunity and I took your advice. Convinced hubby to camp in the Chesaning campground the night of the concert and then head up north Sunday morning. You can walk to the concert right from the campground - I am sooooo excited. Think the band's RV has a site in the campground - LOL - I think not, but a girl can dream!

I was able to get one ticket in the 9th row - I'm stoked. Vacation is definitely looking better & better. Cannot wait to see him again - last time was a year ago at Ford Day!

I shouldn't be looking at any of this... it just depresses me even more that I've missed two David Cook concerts in Michigan. And now I don't think I'll be able to go in Sept. either.

Just got to say this was a great concert. Small venue very up close and personal.

I could go on and on but a few highlights. The band camped at the Chesanig campground with all of us regular folk only obviously behind a fenced area. About 4-5p.m. David came out walking Dublin and went to do sound check. He did wave to us but said he could not come over. During the warm up band he stood off to the side holding Dublin listening to the music. Some of the fans noticed him and started distracting away from the band so he quite appropriately left. My husband was outside of the showboat stage (he did not come to the concert) and sent me a text saying David was outside playing football. He played right up until 5 minutes before going on stage tossing the ball over the fence to some ladies who called over to him. My wonderful hubby videoed it for me - wasn't that sweet!

He played the usual set was very light hearted and seemed to be having a great time, couple classic lines - "Men do not put fruit in the beer" (in reference to a lady drinking Bud with Lime). "This guy on the river is gonna show me is *** and I don't think I want to see that" and "Is there anyone from PETA here because I'm either gonna kill this mosquito or name it! "

He is truly engaging, rocked the place out and everyone stood the entire concert .I was totally blown away. Mr. Cook outdid himself again!

I have video and pix but I'm on vacation for a week , I see there's some already posted so enjoy everyone! If you get the chance to see him in person - DO IT YOU WON'T BE DISSAPPOINTED!

Anyone notice the new tattoos on his forearm? Looks like he is getting a sleeve like Neal. I can't tell what they all are. Any information???

Aww Hooked! Your hubby is awesome to have caught that on video for you! I saw David with Dublin! He was soo cute! Sadly I didn't catch a photo of it. I wanted to go over and get some pics of David and co while NeedToBreathe were preforming but I decided not to.

I rather enjoyed NeedToBreathe and really liked the looks of Bo. He was so adorable! (But not cuter than David of course!)

I'm actually hoarse today from all the screaming I did during David's set. I'm rather saddened that David did not play Lie. It's my most favorite song on the record. *tear* But I did get IJDIYAT though.

I'm basically rambling here. haha. The jokes were hilarious. Esp. the yellow shirt dude who hadn't bought the album yet. I really hope that they didn't make a liar out of the guy who said that he did go and buy it. Lmao.

Pictures and video will be up tomorrow. I'm totally beat. I cannot wait until I can see them again in concert.

ETA: I forgot to tell that Joey had purple hair! I was like is it the lights? But no it's purple and I can't help but like it. heh.

That isn't Dave's arm, it's Neals.

Sorry, I can tell now it isn't his arm. It was weird looking at it at first. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

Ya - loved the jokes and totally agree about the yellow shirt dude!! Very smart engaging the guys like he does!

I also agree I can't wait to see him in September at Allegan County I have 2 set of tickets and trying to decide which two to use. 3rd row to the left or 18th row center. Believe it or not I think I'm leaning towards center???? Any suggestions anyone??
