I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has been thinking of my family and me during this difficult time.

For those that don't know, I have been the primary caregiver of my grandma since November. Its been hard work and some days I didn't know if I could handle it or not but in the end it was worth it. Well she took a turn for the worse this past week and before I knew it she passed away last night at 4:06AM. She was the only grandparent I really knew and was the backbone of my family. I loved her dearly.

So because of the help of my family, friends, and you guys here it has made this untimely death a lot easier for me to accept. Also, DC's music has helped me and to be honest I don't know if I could of made it thru this without his music b/c his music and lyrics just speak to me.

I love you, Word nerds

But something that did make me smile today...My mom was working on my grandma's obituary for the newspaper and she wanted to read it to me to see how it sounded. Well she came to the part of about how my grandma was survived by 3 grandkids. Which were listed as my sister and her husband, then my brother and his wife so when she got to me she goes "And her youngest grandchild, Ashley [last name] and her future husband David Cook" I have no idea how she kept a straight face because I literally cracked up which I haven't done in over a week. Haha of course she was just kidding, she really didn't put that lol but too bad that wasn't true!

I'm sorry sorry for your loss. It's good that you could have a laugh in this difficult time though.

Aww, sweetheart. You know we're all here for you. Even the ones *ahem, me* that don't know you as well.
It will get easier, just take it a day at a time.
Lots of love
