I agree with you annie there's no law saying cook has to be out there to take pics or to sign everything that's just the guy he is. He cherishes the fans he feels he has to pay us back for voting him the winner. And thats not true he is paying us back he's giving all of us a great performance night after night and the big pay off for us fans will be when the album comes out.

And, seriously.. it makes me sad that everywhere I turn on this forum everything has turned into SUCH a drama. Disagreement is going to occur, and people are going to have differing opinions on things. Discussing these differences is a great thing..but bashing and being disrespectful is unnecessary.

Just to clarify, this is a blanket statement...I'm not trying to single anyone out.

And, to comment on David not meeting fans at the buses after the concert: At my concert in Albany, we were told by security that he would not be coming out because he had already left for New York City. I assumed it was to work on his album.

After seeing the bedlam that is the buses after the concert, I was impressed that they deal with that every night and with how well they apparently deal with it. I know some would say that this is what they want, or this is what comes with fame and noteriety, but I don't think we can ever comprehend all they have to do in a day. I was grateful for the time they took out of their schedules to sign autographs and take pictures, and I walked away with the impression that they are just a bunch of genuinely nice people.

I do not lie about anything and let me make it clear again I NEVER SAID I COMMUNICATED with David. I had David's myspace before he entered American Idol, how many times do I need to say this? I also had Brooke. That is how I was able to email him, however, he never communicates back nor did I ever have any expectations...but I do know he reads them. There are many fans that I know of who have David's old email account including my beautiful friend below. Do you feel better now that I clarified that Danielle? You sound like such an obsessive person sometimes. As for the afterparty passess, I was told they were sent to the Wachovia in Wilkes Barre instead of the Wachovia in Phila.... I can tell you now, I will be giving them to someone else if I can because I can not go to Wilkes Barre. I really wanted to meet David and was very upset because I do love the guy and due to me travelling so much, it was the only opportunity I had to meet him. Throwing a football instead of greeting fans was not right. And there were many other fans around me upset. I really don't appreciate your slander Danielle. I admit, I can be direct sometimes and it may come across harsh and I do apologize. If I posted on your board, who cares and if I said something that you may have misinterpreted or you found upsetting, then I am sorry. It is also possible my neices posted since they use my computer all the time when they visit, and they are big Cook fans and not Kim fans. I have automatic log on. And No, I am not a fan of Kim and never was a fan....and no one should be forced to like her because they like David Cook's music. In fact, the same person who is a PR person for Kim is actually in touch with me to see if they can get Kim to assist in promoting a cause from one of my friends that I too have been trying to promote. (I can't go into details here at the moment) Perhaps some of David's fans should read his old blogs, some are not exactly charming. I rarely post on boards... I really don't know what you are trying to prove...I really don't understand why you are so nasty. I tried to talk to you in a civil way via PM. You honestly do not know me at all, and if you are going to judge someone merely from a messageboard and someone's thoughts on a subject that are in opposition to yours, then that is just plain silly. And yes, I am a terrible speller, and I have a graduate degree....but this is only a message board not an official report to the Chairman of the Board.

I love David's voice. I knew the minute I heard him sing "All Right Now", that he would win the show. I hope he has a long career because for most artist, the shelf life is anywhere from 2 to 5 years...Deep down I do like the guy very much, however, I do not always agree with the things he does and there are time when he disappoints. Like many fans on Finale night, I voted for 4 hours on 3 phones, with friends, and continued to stay up encouraging the West Coast. So I find many of your accusations very rude Danielle and if David said the things you relayed to me then he is definitely not worth it.

I am sure in my career, my paths with him may cross....so for the time being let's please stop the bashing, and show a little respect.
