Well, it is up to the voting audience. I don't vote on this show....just watch and enjoy. As for who should stay and who should go, I think they are all equally good in what they do. So whoever is left is fine with me. As a personal preference, though....I really like Katie and Joshua perhaps a little bit more than the rest. All 6 of them are wonderful, though.

And I agree....tonight was absolutely fabulous. Not a mediocre dance in the bunch.

I typically don't vote on this show, either. Last year I voted for Sabre for the win. Last night I picked up the phone to vote. Lines were SUPER busy for Mark, Courtney, and Joshua. I got through several times for Chelsie. Her line was wide open. Hmmmm.....

I have watched my three favorite routines OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN:

Mark/Courtney - jazz (Mark was totally in his element and Courney was amazing)

Mark/Courtney - waltz (so elegant and such tender emotions)

Katee/Joshua - contemporary/jazz by Tyce (so moving - blows me away!)


I am thinking Twitch and Chelsie will go home tonight...

A few thoughts on the results show as I am watching it right now.

Haha, Cat is so cute! I love that she loves the wind machine.
Side Note: I've noticed that her hair and clothing has been really lovely for the past few weeks... FINALLY!!!
Although, I'm not a huge fan of her dress tonight.

Adam just offered a featured dance role in a movie he's producing to the winner.... rumor has it he's producing Hairspray 2, but it's only a rumor. That would be great exposure for the winner.

That's so awesome that each contestant got over a million votes! Good for them

Okay, I'm going to stop my play by play before this gets to be an annoyingly long post.

YES! BRILLIANT -- and it continued into another aweome lift. Katee's lines are flawless and Joshua is SO strong! I also love the part around 1:04-1:07 where Katee extends her leg and Joshua leaps over her! and the part where they are passionately swaying around 1:43-1:46. WOW! Tyce is going to get nominated for an emmy for this one...and his Adam/Eve choreography, too. He, Mia, and Wade Robson are the best. *still missing Wade*





Yes, her response to the wind machine cracked me up, too. I also loved it when she picked up the little fella that danced! You know, she can look absolutely fabulous, but there was a dress that she wore about 3 weeks ago that was hideous...it looked like it could have been early 80's couch fabric. YIKES!


So sad to say good-bye to Mark. Why did the producers not put his Bohemian Rhapsody dance in his clips...the one where he was playing the piano on the ground??!?! It was brilliant and it was the moment he caught our attention. I can't believe they didn't put it in his exit video!


LOVE JOSH WITHOUT THE BRACES!!

It was sad to see anybody of the top 6 leave last night. They all were brilliant the evening before. What a talented bunch they have this year!

Hey gang!!! My tickets are purchased for the tour! YAY!

My favorite dance last night was Josh & Twitch doing the Russian dance. That was brilliant. I loved Joshua's toe touches. WOW! I hope he wins! I really think he may have won America's heart. Katee is great, but there's something special about Josh.

Last night was an awesome dancing finale!!!

The highlight really was the Twitch/Josh Russian dance. The end piece with the four of them was really intereseting, men in KILTS!!! So hot!! I love how Nigel didn't really get it though... what's to get? MEN IN KILTS!!! Actually, I could kinda see where he was coming from but oh well.

Twitch is still my favorite, he got all my votes last night!! I think Josh is a slightly better dancer than Twitch but there's just a spark in Twitch that has touched me since the auditions. It was so sad that he was sad when Kherington left. That really touched me.

I don't think Courtney will win but if Twitch, Josh or Katee do, I will be extremely happy for any of them. They have proven and grown so much!!

Can't wait for the finale tonight!!!

I was just looking for that!! I missed it so I wanted to see it!!!!!!

MORE THOUGHTS....

I really like Courney. I think she is so cute and she has grown so much in the competition, but I don't think she can pull off the win.

Twitch is great, too....I was rooting for him to win after Will left...then I switched to Josh.


I'm eager for tonight...hope they do like they have done in the past where we get to see repeat performances of the judges favorites!!


Hey, Canadian Cookie...did you enjoy having Wade back? I sure did....good to also finally learn why he couldn't choreograph as much on the show this year!!!

Joshua is soooo deserving of this! I'm so happy for him! My favorite will always be Twitch but seeing how happy he was for Joshua was heartwarming as well!

What a fun season! I loved it! Only a few more months till AI starts up again! Luckily, we get a breather!

^YES! He's from my area! I think there might be a welcome home shindig for him. Fox news was going to talk about it last night...I recorded the news, but haven't watched yet!! I'd love to welcome him home!!!

I remember Nigel saying something about that earlier in the season, but I didn't know that's what was taking up his entire time. Glad to see that he (as well as Shayne) could spare a few moments to use their mega talent for choreography on the season finale.

I'm a little blue after the last episode, and knowing that I won't see another one for a year... *sigh*

HA! Well, I had such a hard time, but I'm glad you appreciated my effort!! I downloaded The Garden by Mirah off iTunes. Man, it is SUCH a great song! I cannot wait to see the dance. Our seats are really far away, though. I don't think I will have any sort of range for good photos. I couldn't get online right away...nor could the girl I was going with, so that's a bummer. I probably should have asked someone to buy for us. I wish our seats were better, but it's ok Just being there will be cool.

So what else other TV shows we going to discuss this fall? What threads should we start? I am a huge Prison Break fan and will start one a topic on that show here pretty soon....it starts up right around labor day.

My friend is a huge Prison Break fan... unfortunately I haven't gotten into it too much.

I'm a reality tv junkie. I started an ANTM thread last week that I'm hoping will carry over into the season. But stuff gets recycled pretty fast around here... so I'd be surprised if it lasted that long.
I'm looking forward to Survivor and The Amazing Race too!
And of course Lost and Grey's Anatomy are always high up on my list.
And in Canada the first season of So You Think You Can Dance Canada is starting pretty soon... I'm very excited about that!!

I didn't get into the show until more towards the end of the season. I did manage to get 2nd row seats to the tour when they come to Norfolk in November!

Such a Great season!! It was so much fun and I liked so many of the dancers that it was sad nearly every week for me. I love that Katee and Joshua were top female and male--they had some of the best numbers of the season. I'm glad Nigel is focusing on this show, because I think it can be much bigger and even better. After Bollywood and Russian dancing--how 'bout Ballet Folklorico styles? Variations on cool African and Pacific Island dances? And more great outside dance troupes on elimination nights, please! I guess I should say this over on the SYTYCD site, huh? More Idol crossovers would be fun, too.

Now, we've got to wait until next year for new shows & DC's solo tour--bawww!

I used to frequent those message boards lots last year, but I forgot about it until the end of this last season, and by then I would have never been able to catch up!

Did anyone see the dancers on Larry King tonight? They were on before the Idols were.
I missed the episode (just caught Kherington and Twitch dance at the end) but I'll have a look for it and I'll post it if I find it.

RATS! I totally missed DAVID, the idols...and now you tell me the dancers last night. I didn't get the msg that the show was changed from tonight to last night! I am not happy! Will try to look for all this on you tube later.....

The website quit on me last night, which I thought was weird. I was looking through all the posts and then my computer said it couldn't find the server... like it didn't exist.
Anyways, I watched LKL last night (at midnight, right after the website stopped working) and only Kherington and Twitch were on the show. Larry made it seem like the whole group was on there... kinda disappointing.
