I just found out today that Dominic and Cedric are apparently coming to Vancouver (where I live) for a dance workshop!!! Unfortunately the tickets are close to $100. Depending on what I'm doing that day, I might just hang out around the studio... haha. Probably not though

Many squeals from this quarter, too! I heard some rumor that Idol finalists might show up on SYTYCD this season? How hot would that be? Anyone know anymore about this?

So excited for this season! Last season I loved Neil... and Danny was a beautiful dancer, but he just got on my nerves... I loved Lacey & Kameron together, but not separately... I can't wait for this season!!

Ahh I can't wait to see the new season! It means more downloading though, because I'm not American in my country they're airing season 2, lol. Yeah, we're so slow.

Last season made me a fan. I never understood all the hype before last summer, I had seen one result episode and few episodes of Dancing With The Stars and thought they were both so boring. I'll take it back now... it's so addicting!

I haven't heard that rumour, but you must keep me updated on that! That would be fantastic!!


Ok, Lacey and Kameron's contemporary routine choreographed by Mia Michael's, music by Elisa ~ Dancing still gives me chills to this day. I loved that performance. It was definitely #1 for me. A close 2nd was Dom and Sabra's hip hop routine choreographed by Shayne Sparks, music by Ne-Yo.


Haha, reason numero uno as to why I won't let myself watch DWTS. I watch too much tv as it is!!!

Kamcey's contemporary routine was my favorite too! I even had it on my mp3 player because I couldn't get enough of it.

Did anyone notice when they played the clip for the upcoming season (on Wed nights results show) that they showed a group picture of all the dancers on the stage (most likely Las Vegas week, where they cut them all down). Anyways, Travis was teaching them all a dance!!
So exciting!!! But I hope that doesn't mean Mia Michaels is not choreographing on the show anymore. I loove her!

I went too!! And a bunch of us waited outside after the concert for almost an hour and a half. Our stop was the only one that the dancers didn't come outside to meet the fans afterwards *sigh*
That's okay, I still the show and performers on it

My favorites from last season was Sabre, Neil and Dominic. Last season was my favorite season so far.

Who couldn't LURVE Benji? He was so adorable! I also had a terrible case of eye strain caused by Dmitri. Yep. I confess. Neil--so precious, too, and I loved Lauren, she of the hands on David's hips during Idol gives back. She had a great personality.

I think Cat Deeley is a very competent and charming host. But if they EVER do something as stupid as that prank of saying she and Nigel were going to dance together and then it was animated==GAH! Horrible!

Did you all catch Travis (whom I also love) "trying out" in drag?

This looks like a good group, but I think that forced drama at the end between the two BFF girls was very contrived. I didn't care for it one bit.

This show gets me through the long summer months along with The Closer and now Saving Grace, which are both excellent.

I adore Cat Deely. The 2nd season I found her a tad annoying, but since then she's been getting better. I loved how Dom had a huge crush on her last season! Haha. And I agree, that part when her and Nigel were dancing...... not cool.

I have to admit, I'm a little bit disappointed with this group. But only because they didn't pick most of the ones I liked There are a few I'm keeping my eye on though. And as of right now, I like more girls then guys. I have a feeling another girl will take it this season.
I guess we will have to wait and see.

And, Travis in drag was hilarious! I didn't even recognize him, but dang.. the boy has amazing legs!

I love this show; don't be mad but I prefer it to AI. I find SYTYCD more entertaining than AI. Don't get me wrong I loved watching David perform and some of the other performances, but I find the dancing overall more entertaining than most of the AI performances. The results show is also far superior to the AI results show. My favrites are Nick the winner of season 1, Travis, Allison, and Neil.

Contemporary is definitely my favorite genre... Mia Michaels is such a genius. Like, everything she creates is so ah-mazing and superb emotional. Lacey/Neil performance tells everything.



Aww, don't be sorry for that. I know A LOT of people thinks like that. And besides, no one should me mad at someone else's opinion, it's just matter of taste.

AI gets compared to CI every year and now to SYTYCD also. IMO all of them have their good and bad sides. The thing I love most in SYTYCD is that we get to see true talent. There's no room for weeks of crappy auditions and there's no way someone undeserving person would stay in the competition for weeks because of voting. Judges will keep the best ones and throw weaker contestants out.

And talking about AI... Mary > Paula in any day! She's just so hilarious and real. I love when she starts screaming but she's also able to actually say something about performances, not just their dresses, lol.

YAY! SO happy a thread was started on this topic!!! I started watching on season two. I LOVE TRAVIS (and totally digged him this year with the Raining Men routine!!)

My favorite last year was definately Sabre and I was so happy she won because she captured my heart, but I also loved Neil and Sarah.

My favorite choreographer is Wade Robson (his group Ramalama Bang Bang routine from season 2) and any of his other stuff (the hummingbird and the street people routine from last year also come to mind). He is so unique. Where is Wade?? We have not seen him all season!!!! Second fave choreographer is Mia. OMG! She is incredible. The Park Bench with Travis & Heidi (season 2) and the one last year with Neil & Lacey for her deceased father. Wow. She brings us a gift each time she does her choreography!!! Other favorite dances (a few of you mentioned): the jazz routine to Sweet Dreams (Neil & Sabra), the Lacey & Cameron contemporary routine from last year, the disco routine with Sarah & Neil (Knock on Wood - Neil does his incredible flip at the beginning!!!). I also loved the Bringing Sexy Back top 4 dance of season 2 (I belive that was also the amazing Wade Robson).

Ok.......on to last night, I was most impressed with:

Chelsea T and Thayne - Cha Cha (Wow - SO HOT!)
Chelsie and Mark (Another brilliant Mia contemporary piece!)
Kherington and Twitch - Broadway (so much energy. Gosh, LOVE THESE TWO TOGETHER, TOO!)

Honorable mention:
Katee and Joshua - Hip Hop (I could not stop watching Josha. He can really move. WOW!)

The dancers there are just absolutely amazing!
However, I do have to give a lot of the credit to the choreographers of the show because they really make the routines interesting. Some of those pieces are more then just entertaining, they are breathtaking!

I watched the show last night and thought there are a lot of talented dancers. After the first show my favorites are Joshua, Kerrington, Courtney--the one who looks like Uma Thurman, and the first couple but I can't remember their names.

Yea I'm officially addicted to that show.

My favorite performance last night was the hip hop routine katie and joshua did, my second favorite the mia Michaels piece- can't remember the dancers names. So glad this show is back, it gives me something to watch this summer.

I wonder if Shayne Sparks will be a judge or choreographer this year since he is a judge on the MTV dance crew show?

The people that did the hip hop routine were Rayven and Jamie.

In Canada, they're showing So You Think You Can Dance 4. We just saw the top 20 dance last night and 2 got eliminated tonight.
Is that different from where you are?

YAY! A Wade Robson piece!!!!! I immediately recognized his choreography on the group dance and I am THRILLED he is back!!! Hopefully, we'll see some of his stuff with the couples next week!!!

Very glad to see my top three faves from this week were the first three made safe last night!!!!! Sorry to see Ravyn leave. She was a sweetheart....

I LOVE this show! Its actually probably my favorite reality show. I like it because I can appreciate the dancing and usually grow to love several of them instead of getting emotionally attached to just one person (cough cough David). So its low stress. I must say I was incredibly impressed with the entire top twenty. This is going to be a great year. My favorites of the first night: Twitchington! Joshua and Katie and their hip hop routine to No Air. And also the two who danced Mia's piece, Chelsey and Mark I think? I love Mia's choreography. As I was watching it on my dvr, I had to rewind and watch it a couple times before moving on to the next dance. Mia's absolutely amazing. And I am so angry at Randy for stealing Shane away to ABDC. Even tho I love that show as well, I miss Shane on SYTYCD. And I am extremely upset that I missed Wade's piece yesterday! Due to the storms in KC, we were only able to see the last 10 minutes of the show last night. I think the two that got knocked off got a bad break going first out of such a stellar group of 20. I enjoyed their routine. Its going to be hard getting down to the top 10 this year. Heck, it was hard enough last year!

Gosh, I love this show!!!

Last night the following stood out to me for the second week in a row:

Mark and Chelsie Hightower - Argentine Tango
Twitch and Kherington - Viennese Waltz

These four stood out for me during the auditions and I just love seeing them paired together!! PERFECTION! I especially loved when Twitch cradled Kherington toward the end of the waltz. WOW!

I love, love, love WILL and JOSHUA, but think they are much stronger than their partners. I thought the Broadway routine was amazing!!

I think Susie is in danger of leaving for the women tonight. Gosh, I was really disappointed with her. Maybe she will be able to save herself with the solo, but I don't know. The judges have the final say and I don't think they will want her to continue. There are too many other stronger dancers.

It annoys me that the judges have the final say in who gets to stay and who gets to go.

I somewhat agree with you! At least that changes at some point and America gets the full decision.....I think that starts once it gets to the top 12? I can't remember....

Either that or the top 10. Twitchington was my fave last night!

When the judges choose, do they always eliminate people from the same couple? Cause that happened last week and this week.

It's just a coincidence. Last year they split up 2 couples the 3rd show in I think. I'm sure they'll get around to doing that again this year.

I am a HUGE so you think you can dance fan and wow this season is AMAZING!! Right now I LOVE Twitch and Kherington they are just AWESOME!! I do agree with the others as well but for some reason Twitchington has always stood out and they are doing great. I also think that WILL is a great dancer as well he just needs a better partner because she is the one that is letting him down if he had a better partner he would be better. This is really hard though because they are all so good!!
