I was lurking the David A message boards
and I was reading a topic on the Ocdcd.
And they are so immature about the whole thing.
It's kind of ridiculous

Now I respect David A but not his fans on the message board.

David C fans are more mature I think.

Again, especially because David Cook fans on americanidol.com started the whole OCDCD thing months ago. I know, because I was one of them.
Watch, next they'll have David Archuleta Anonymous (I myself started that thread on ai.com in either late February or early March) or The David Archuleta Diet (again, I created that one too).
Oh, let's not forget the fact that they're already ripping story plots and claiming originality, shall we?

Pathetic. That's the only word I can think of.

They have to resort to saying that we're stealing his things because they're getting desperate. They know the finale will most likely be the two Davids, and ours will probably win. Because let's face it, the majority of the world does not listen to Hannah fucking Montana.

I've actually been thinking about this, and I've come to a conclusion (well, it makes sense to me anyways).
I think that David Archuleta fans are more motherly. Like if anyone says anything bad about him they will stick up for him until they die!! Which is awesome... unless you're on their bad side.
But David Cook fans are more casual about it. Like we'll stick up for him, but since DC seems like the type of person that would let this all roll off his back, we're more likely to do so as well.

Anyways, that's what I think about all that.

i guess all we can do is be the mature ones, don't fight back, and eventually they'll see we don't care and they'll let it die.

Frankly, I'm tired of the bashing. I take it more as a defense tactic, since this kind of thing wasn't out of control like it is now, back in the beginning...when Archie was still considered TCO. You remember, back when they thought everyone else should have just gone home? I get the impression that the people doing the bashing are lashing out because they realize that David Cook is indeed a threat to the Golden Boy, and a big one. I have friends who love Archie and don't like Cook. The difference is the nasty, mean-spirited just plain childish behavior being displayed by some of these Archie fans. He himself, seems like a nice guy...and i find it amazing that fans of his would act that way.

i honestly just believe it's because the majority of them haven't reached that age of maturity yet...
i'm only 16. and i clearly remember when i was around 12-13 years old.. i was exactly like that.. name calling, immaturity, instigating..

what is even worse, is on the AI board under the Archie folder, they have 40 and over thread and it was getting really "sick" adult women gushing over David A. He is a kid and these women were getting really creepy. Also, there were Archie fans coming to the David Cook thread because it was getting too creepy for them to post in his thread.

One of my Archie-loving friends was one of the ones who got creeped out by the gushing over him. She's pretty much stopped going to IDF now. As i stated in a post i made when a Cook fan was being attacked by a mob of Archie fans over there last week...there seems to be a BIG double standard when it comes to the Archie fans.

well Im glad that the DC fans are more mature than the DA fans.

Not to worry, we should just make sure we use lots of big words and acronyms with at least 4 letters. Proper spelling would also probably confuse them... It was really funny reading some of those posts, maybe because I'm now trying to teach my kids how pointless name calling is.

I am actually registered with archuletafans.com under the same name as I am here supporting DC. I orginally went on there to priase them because they have a TON of members and are an extremely active website.

I did reply to that topic just now agreeing that OCDCD is long...but it is specific.

I also asked that the admin's close the topic because it was really unnecessary. We'll see how that goes.
