Never saw American Idol (except the parts where David sang solo), so I barely know Carly Smithson, but I'm a major Ben Moody fan!!!... I loved Evanescence with him, was very sad when he left, and think that the band and their music went downhill from there... Thanks for the link!!! Really liked the song. Super excited to hear their upcoming album and to become a Carly fan!

Thanks for this link! ! i thought this song was pretty good!! While I am not the hugest Carly fan, i DO always like keeping up with what the other Idols are doing. And I did think this song was quite good--hope they have success together as a band.

Oh dear.

Alright, first of all, Ben left in 2003 because he wasn't happy anymore. The others obviously did not leave until later on. People grow apart. But that's life, folks. I'd like to say that it doesn't affect the music but it does. Whether it was for better or for worse is for the public to decide. But they are still very much together and plan on releasing new music next year. Quite honestly, I don't get the comparison, other than the fact that they used to be in a massively-successful rock band. I'm hoping people can look at it for what it is, and what it is not. And what it is not is the reincarnation of Amy Lee.

Now, back on topic, I absolutely adore this song! It's nice to see that people still know how to draw the line between alternative and mainstream. And they seem to do that quite well. I can't wait to hear more from them.

Good luck to Carly! Been waiting to see what she was gonna do. I think a band setting really suits her. Look forward to see where she goes.

I love, love, love Carly! She was tied for my second favorite with Michael Johns (David being my first...DUH!) and I got a picture hugging her on the AI Tour in Charlotte, NC.
