I want, badly, to see him do something... not so symbolic? Maybe an upbeat song? I know he seems to struggle with those, but if he keeps the lyrics in his head he should do all right.

I actually have no song suggestions for him other than those two, though. It's sad.

And yet, I've been hearing that Archie might do that tonight, too. Grr. Some songs you just do not mess around with.

I don't know the song 'Cherry, Cherry' but I sure hope David A. doesn't sing it--just because of the title.

1. Am i the only one who can't help but giggle at the thought of Archie doing I'm A Believer? I don't mean that in a bitchy way...i just think it's such a weird song choice.

2. I agree about Cherry Cherry. I also feel that way about Sweet Caroline. I just don't see anyone being able to pull it off well (watch...Cook will do it just because i said that lol)

David Archuleta - "~~I’m a Believer~~", "~~America~~" not enough concrete info to go with these choices yet…

I really am hoping Archie does "I'm a Believer" just for the pure entertainment of it (and Simon's creative feedback).

2 songs! woo! I want one song with the rockstar attitude and guitar, and one with lots of micstand sexiness and power notes. But I am sick of ballads, David...I am sick of ballads. Leave them to Archie...

On the bus this morning, the dj's talked about AI again. They played a Neil Diamond song and the only contestant they talked about was our Cookie! lol. the lady said that David would do good with the song (didn't hear it. too busy listening to cookie) and the guy was like "nooo! He's got a great gravely rocker attitude/style/voice, etc" and he also said he can sing anything and do amazing. It made me smile. lol. they love DC.

David Cook - from person who spoiled Brooke “…He said he tried a bunch of better known songs and then went for more of an unknown song.” BTW, this poster claims to have gotten the spoilers straight from Neil Diamond. Normally, I’d be skeptical, but this person has spoiled successfully before and seems to have good connections.
