I do like these lyrics. I don't like ND's voice.
But replace with DC's beautiful voice, better instrumentation, and... voila! Another megahit.

Both these song choices are believable for me -- I can see DC rocking Beautiful Noise. Ahhh rockin DC!

Hang on...those (highlighted) aren't ND songs. At least i'm almost positive they're not. My mom was a massive ND fan, so i'm pretty sure. Oh hell, maybe i'm wrong. Are they perhaps allowed to do songs he has covered like they did with Mariah? *slightly confused*

yay. 2 songs from DC. i've come to the conclusion that i dont care what DC sings tomorrow because i know that whatever he sings he will do a brilliant job at it and will make our hearts melt.

Oh my gosh. I'm not familiar with ND's music, but I checked out the two songs and I can TOTALLY see David singing both of them. They're perfect for him. And guess what...neither of those songs were the ones people were suggesting. Unpredictable David as usual

I hope these are the real song choices because if they are, David is going to do a really great job. And that "Play Me" song...omg, I will be dead on my living room floor if he does it LOL I can just picture his voice with that song...

I can't wait to get a double dose of David this week! Yay!

I am all for him singing Play Me. I think he would do a brilliant job on that song...whatever your opinion about ND, that is one helluva sexy song. Not too sure about Beautiful Noise though. It's not a terrible shoice, but i just think he'd do much better with something like Solitary Man. As for another ballad...Hello Again (even though i know it won't happen).
If i had my way, Cook would give us a Rockstar performance (guitar and all) & a sexy ballad. I think he needs to work some rocker magic with at least one of the songs...if only because he's done nothing but ballads the last few weeks.

I just read another thread that David's song choices are going to be I Am I Said & Solitary Man.

Over on IDF they just posted that the report of him doing those songs is fake. *big sigh* Those were my original 2 picks for David.

Once I played the song I recognized it and DC would do a fine job singing this song. It would be great if he did play the piano because it would show just how talented he is.
