so today i'm sitting in science and we're learning about electric circuits.
so our teacher was teaching us how to use the ammeter [some kind of measurement instrument] and this is how my little scene went..

teacher: "okay, see the switch that says DC then AC? switch it to DC."
me: " ohmy.gif what?! *laughs idiotically to herself*

honestly, when i'm gonna have to use the ammeter for my lab exam at the end of the year, i'm never gonna finish, i'll be too distracted by that little switch

Haha I would be distracted by the little switch as well!

Ah, yes, I had forgotten about the AC/DC circuits. (Band pun intended, because that's how I remember them.) Yeah, I'd be giggling to myself, too.

"Hee hee ha ha ha...she said DC!"
raccooneyes86
I would have had the same reaction smile.gif

Something similar happened to me at work... on the radio they played "Hello," "Always Be My Baby," and "Daytripper," consecutively. It was awesome.

Wow I think that's really shows David's popularity. To suddenly be playing all of those songs after he's performed them on Idol? I don't think that's a coincidence! smile.gif
bat-chen
Haha!! that's a funny story smile.gif

I will switch to DC anytime!
Rheanne
That was a great story. I'd keep it on DC all the time.
kookyC
haha. i had to deal with circuit boards a couple weeks back and i giggled everytime my professor said DC.

to add to the DCness... [it has nothing to do with science]

i was searching through my closet to find a sweatshirt to wear today, and what do i pull out?
a sweatshirt my dad bought me when he went to washington dc
and it's got DC in huge letters on the front laugh.gif
MyBloodyValentine
Its even funnier when you think both his brothers initials are AC so you put them with him and you do get AC/DC :-D...
PrueLu
haha but i'm sure we want AC (either one) to be our brother-in-law, don't we? hmm? tongue.gif
Meganbrianna
Haha, I have a sticker that says DC from the shoes I got a while back that I found recently and put on the front cover of my planner. I also wear my DC shoes erryday. smile.gif
Raykie
David's shirt last night said AC biggrin.gif
His guitar too....
