Do you remember I told you before we are way behind with the AI show here on Swedish TV ?
Yesterday they aired the episode when the last 24 got to know they were the chosen ones.

And I noticed two things in particular,

1) when DC came back to the “waiting room” telling the others he had a Yes, he received huge ovations from his fellow contestants, there was more cheering for him than for any other contender, except from maybe MJ.

2) Brooke was a nervous wreck already at this point. I thought it was something she developed as the competition went on, but obviously not. Shouldn’t the judges have noticed that from the beginning and maybe not let her through to the final 24 ? I don’t know, but it hurts to see an obviously very nice girl mentally break down in front of your eyes. Maybe it would have been more humane if they had said no to her right there.

oh, we are finland way to ahead, we are now top 6 performence, next weekend top 5

Those are good points Cobbler. If David and MJ got the loudest reception, that's what their peers felt of their talent.

And Brooke, poor Brooke, she is falling apart, terribly.

Brooke is so sweet but it is obvious that she can't handle all the pressure.

All of David's peers already realized back then that he was full of talent.

Now you reminded me I NEVER SAW THAT EPISODE that showed DC getting a yes in that long room to the Top 24.

Do you remember

- All the contestants seemed to be really nervous, there were lots of giggles and babbling and arguing with the judges. But DC was cooler than cool. I felt so proud of him.

- When it was DC turn to sing, Ryan started to interview one of the other guys, I almost threw something at my TV.

- Simon hated everyone except Archie

- Archie was singing uptempo

- When Ryan announced Archies phone number he said: that's just to vote for him, you can't adopt him

- This Randy person - does he ever use normal vocabulary ? I love some of his statements (like the molten hot lava bomb thing) but when he talks like that all of the time, it's a little, well too much, sort of. imo

Btw. I was over at my mothers house helping her with some household stuff and time flew so I had to watch the show with her. She's sort of almost granny age, but very into music. This was the first time she ever watched AI and after DC had sung she said: "I liked that guy, he has a fantastic voice. I bet he will be the winner"
She missed Archie though, because she fell asleep when he was singing ...
