Had to share this quick story......

Today, I had to drive 309.2 miles roundtrip to an out-of-town medical appt. Since it's Idol day and since I'm jonesin' for some David (OK, when am I not?), I popped in my iPod, set my David playlist on repeat and rocked his tunes all the way up and all the way back -- for 5 hours and 45 minutes!

A magical 69 plays (and yes, I'll admit it ..... I stayed in my car in the garage until the very last one ended).

Man, is it time for the show yet?

Haa, I wish I had somewhere to drive then I could do the same!!

Exactly! But our man, David, almost got me a speeding ticket or two (or three). Totally lost in the live versions of Creep and Clean Break . . . . and I guess I got a little heavy on the accelerator -- whoops! Hello, Mr. State Trooper!

I know how you feel! I drove to Virginia a few weeks ago and listened to Analog Heart and the Axium cd's for probably 5 out of the 6 hours down and the same back up home. I interspersed Daughtry in there just to mix it up a bit.
It's nice to go on a ride that long and to be able to listen to David and sing along at the top of your lungs.

I have a 12-hour(!) road trip coming up fairly soon...I think I may know what I want to listen to those 12+ hours...
I could handle it, deffinetly. I do pray for the sanity of my father, however, who doesn't like to listen to the same person singing over and over again...

I love traveling.. I love just getting in my car and going.. jamming to awesome music with the windows rolled down and the wind tangling the hell outta my hair.. nothing better..
